The Cigar Room Guntersville — Attraction in Guntersville

1st time visiting a cigar room. Was with a family member. We walk in and the cashier greets him. Turns out they know each other from the Huntsville location. Anyway, we enter the cigar room and my family member is looking for what he wants. I am asking questions about different types of cigars. Not even 5 minutes into our visit, the cashier walks in an offers his assistance. No biggie. Sounds like good customer service. Right behind him, however, is another gentleman. He doesn't say a word. I notice that he positions himself between me and the door. He has his hands folder across his stomach. The cashier helps my son but again, this man says nothing as he simply keeps looking directly at me while staying directly in my pathway to the door. Talk about making someone feel uncomfortable!!! Another customer comes in and is looking for a cigar. This man continues to look at me but doesn't offer any assistance to the other customer. As we exit the room with the cigars, the customer asks a question which makes this man turn his attention to him. WTW?! It's apparent that he wasn't there to assist anyone but rather...

I enjoy a good cigar. Though I don't smoke 'em. I chew the daylights out of them. On a recent trip to Guntersville AL, I decided I needed a cigar and found The Cigar Room at the City Harbor. Now, they didn't have the stick I was looking for, but, they did have a huge and I mean a HUGE humidor with one of the best selections I've seen. I prefer to chew a cigar that has a Nicaraguan binder and filler and I found one that fit the palette. I did splurge (it's vacation) on an upscale smoke because ot called to me. I've visited the 72 location before and had a decent experience. But, upon visiting this location and after a few minutes in the cigar room trying to decide what I wanted to select for purchase a gentleman comes into the room without saying a word and stands at the door with arms crossed making me feel completely unwelcomed and like I was doing something wrong. Almost seemly/giving off the impression that I wanted to take from the location. Definitely believe this will be the last time I will visit the...
