Columbus Park — Attraction in Hackensack

Needs a major redesign... people playing soccer in old tennis courts, basketball courts with pavement from the 70's and a mud covered grassy area that has no separation between sport and pleasure areas. Drunks and drug deals along the fence in cars. Bergen county being one of the richest in the country and Hackensack being it's capital, can certainly afford to make this large park current. $18,000 in taxes a year should get us a better place for our kids and ourselves. My only complaint is that people keep letting their dogs use bathroom on these brand new courts. People are also not using the trash cans and leaving trash behind. It’s a shame because a lot of work went into this park.
