I ordered a 12-inch cake for my graduation party (came out to $180) and while the design came out exactly how I wanted, the cake itself was hard, dry, and not very tasty. I also had a 12:00pm pick-up — I arrived at around 12:30pm and the cake was still not ready. I was informed it would be another 20 or so minutes so I waited. The young man at the counter was kind enough to gift us some complimentary cupcakes for the inconvenience — he was actually delightful. However, an older woman who “attended” to me when I first arrived was rude and seemed bothered by me. She asked how she could help me and I told her I was picking up a cake. She then asked me for my phone number, which I proceeded to give her, and halfway through she turned to the young man and said something along the lines in Spanish “you help her, I asked her for a receipt but she didn’t show me it.” … She never asked to see a receipt. Anyways, if you want a pretty cake then go for, but in my experience they don’t taste that great. My party was about a month ago and I’m still hearing how my cake was bad.

I found this gem last April while looking for someone to make a 2 tier cake for my moms 60th birthday party. They exceeded my expectations and even delivered the cake to the event site. Everyone loved the cake so much so someone stole the piece I saved for my mom to take home. They make all our family event cakes and we get nothing but positive feedback every single time. These two cakes were made in March for my mom and brothers birthdays and as always they were delicious. I recommend them to every and anyone. You will not be disappointed, and they are not expensive at all.

Haven’t gotten the chance to try more but I love the Hispanic twists on classic deserts. They have so many different types of tres leches and even serve it on a plastic plate to catch the milk. I saw a passion fruit tres leches, can’t wait to try. They had the cutest peppa pig cookies too! I got the dulce de leche tres leches, it was pretty good, not soaked and a little sweet, it had a butterscotch tasting crumb coat that is my only complaint. They offer bite size cakes and so many different types of deserts. Definitely will be coming back, and they have a parking lot!!!

UPDATE: I placed 3 custom cake orders 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving at pickup time, I grabbed one of the cakes and was going to have my sister pick up the others as they weren't ready. Then the debacle starts... they call me to return as they gave me the wrong cake so I come back & they state no cakes were ready. Their paper system was a mess. Pickup was set for 2, they said cakes wouldn't be ready until after 5. But they had previously said they'd be closed by 5. Also, I needed my cakes at 2, dinner was at 3. I've spent hundreds of dollars here in previous months. Witnessed someone buying the turkey shaped cake I pre-ordered and prepaid for $20 more than I paid. Thinking it was more convenient to make more money than to keep customers happy. Sad. Because as you can see from the previous review. I loved this place. Just lost total confidence in them. The owner was ruder than the workers. Truly an awful experience to have on a holiday on the way to dinner. Was late to dinner as I had to reexplain myself 20 times to different ppl. They were trying to charge more. It was disheartening. Have to go and cancel my 2 custom cake orders for this weekend bc I'll likely never come back after the way we were treated.

Was planning to order my daughters first birthday cake here because I really wanted to support a latin owned, family run, small business in my community but they really fumbled badly yesterday. Weren't apologetic and were flat out rude.

Spare yourselves don't order for a special day here. One off pickups are good. Custom orders are awful.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. Friendly staff. Fresh baked goods. I live nearby and come in at least twice a week.

Can personally say the following items are 10/10. Highly reccomend. Love that their items are not overly sweet.

Tres Leches w dulce de leche, tres leches de maracuya, tres leches mango, canolli, pan con queso (the round one is better than the long one IMO), pumpkin/apple/blueberry pie & lastly tiramisu, will keep trying and update this list if I can. Pls support this local family run business,...

Needed a cake for today and called the shop to see if they had any small cakes available. Madeline was very helpful on the phone and gave some suggestions since they didn't have cakes to feed 2-3 people. I went right over to browse their items since I was on a tight schedule. Madeline and Carlos were there and explained all their different pastries and flavors. There was no carrot cake on display so when I asked if they had any, Carlos said he would check. They had one available and I just needed to wait for them to decorate it. The cake is enough for 4 so it worked out perfectly. They were so helpful and turned what could've been a stressful situation of having to find alternatives elsewhere, into one that got me to write a review today. I will definitely go back and hope to see them both again. Customer...
