In January 2021, I made a $130.00 worth of purchases from African Imports. African Imports is a fake company that sold me fake products that burned my radiant, exquisite, phenomenal, glowing and magnificent skin. African Imports company sold me 100% Fake African Products and had false advertisement on all the products I purchased from their website. This company is fake and has 100% very poor customer service. These are the products I purchased from African Imports: (1) Hypnotic Poison (W) Dior Type - 1 oz. This was advertised with a light green color, when it was shipped to me the color was dark red and fake. It didn’t smell like the original Hypnotic Poison (W) Dior Type. It smelled awful and disgusting. (2) West African Black Soap Paste: 16 oz. This product had no palm oil, no palm kernel oil and it had more plantain leaves in it. It had an awful smell! (3) Organic Firm and Flat Belly Detox - 16 oz. Fake product and false advertisement. I used this product for three months and it didn’t get rid of my stubborn belly fat and it didn’t enhance my overall health and energy with this Organic Firm and Flat Belly Detox. (4) Coffee Butter - 2½ oz. This awful product didn’t fix all over my body with natural coffee butter. I used this product for three months and this butter didn’t moisturize my skin while minimizing signs of cellulite, and reducing signs of aging. This is a fake product and false advertisement made on African Imports website. (5) Organic Carrot & Rosemary Hair Pomade. I used this product for three months and this Organic Carrot and Rosemary Hair Pomade didn’t style my hair and it didn’t give my hair shine. When I styled my hair, this product didn’t get my hair fuller and it wasn’t a healthier hair with this natural organic carrot and rosemary oil. This Organic Carrot and Rosemary Hair Pomade had more vegetable oil in it. It had no Organic Carrot oil and no Rosemary oil in it. The smell was awful! Finally, I 100% definitely won’t be recommending African Imports Products to all my families, and friends because I was very, very disappointed with all the fake products I purchased from this fake company with false advertisement with a terrible...
Read moreI've ordered both white and yellow shea butter from 25 lbs to 44 lbs from this business in the last year. I recently ordered 25 lbs of White Shea Butter and received 25 lbs of Yellow Shea Butter in a box that says 25lb Yellow Shea Butter on both sides of the box I took a picture of the order form to show that I ordered 25lb of white shea butter plus a picture of the yellow shea butter in the box and the box itself where it states in print on both sides of the box 25lb Yellow Shea Butter only to be told by Matt and Breanna that the yellow shea butter I'm looking at that says yellow shea butter on both sides of the box it came in is white shea butter. Breanna tells me that the pics I sent were emailed to the processor, and whoever they spoke to there told them the yellow shea butter that was sent to me was white, though it looks yellow, and the box it came in says yellow shea butter on both sides of the box. Breanna further tells me that the 44lb white shea butter I purchased prior looks white because it's a 44lb purchase, and the 25lb purchase of shea butter have more of a yellow tint and the product box so happens to be put in a box that says 25lb Yellow Shea Butter on both sides. So, Im gathering that they have no idea for sure what type of shea butter was sent to me which tells me that there's a very high chance that this company doesn't even check the boxes of shea butter they're getting from their processor prior to shipping to customers. I really do not like the gaslighting Matt and Breanna were doing towards me. That's a real DIRTY APPROACH to doing business. It's bad enough there weren't any apologizing for at least putting the yellow shea butter in a box that says 25lb yellow shea butter on boths sides to me instead of what I ordered. I will not be doing nor encouraging business with...
Read moreI won’t be ordering again. My first order was a set of 6 bitters as a Christmas gift. One of the bitters was leaking. Safety first. Who wants to risk consuming from an opened bottle? This is the email I received when I asked how to return the leaking bottle: “We would not send out a replacement bottle for the label getting a little wet, unfortunately. You are welcome to let it dry out and use it if you would like or you can return it for a refund. If returned you would need to send the full set back as we cannot accept individual items from a set. Below are the return instructions: -Box the item(s) up and make sure the item is complete with any barcodes/labels as it was delivered to you. -Ensure that the item(s) are packed securely as we cannot accept items broken during delivery to us. -Include a note with the original order # and the reason for the return. Also indicate if you would like a store credit or refund back to your original form of payment.
So if I return and they determine the “bottle is a little wet” does that mean no refund? The prices are great but the return policy is a deterrent for me. I want peace of mind when ordering online. Knowing I will have a hassle free return experience if I receive damaged products is worth more than saving a...
