I attended an event at Sky Zone last Saturday morning. It was for the Blippi Event that took place prior to opening for the public. I purchased a ticket, in advance, online. When I arrived, there were lines in every which direction, the staff member greeting the guests informed me that I did not have to fill out a waiver if I had been there in the last year (which I had), so I stood in line for 30 minutes with a toddler and a baby, despite that I already purchased a ticket. Meanwhile, people who were just entering the building were hopping in a new line that formed, while the rest of us had been waiting there. When I inquired about this new line, I was told, "you can join whichever line you want." This was not communicated to us at all. It was so disorganized and ridiculous that I was waiting in the same line as people who had not purchased a ticket yet. Why were there not different lines?

Secondly, once I got to "check in", I was informed by that staff member that I needed to fill out a waiver form. I told her that the staff member greeting us said that we did not, if we had come in the last year. She responded, "it's the last 3 months, we just changed ownership." And while that is probably true, why did the greeter tell customers wrong information? After waiting for 30 minutes in line, I had to get out of line to complete a waiver and then stand back in line again--with a toddler and a baby. Again, even though I purchased my tickets in advance.

Once we finally got in (it was after 9:00am and the event only went until 10:00am). There were so many kids there. I would be curious to know if they surpassed the max capacity. Additionally, even though we paid for the full amount of time, due to their disorganization, my child was only able to jump for barely 45 minutes; they kicked us all right out at 10:00am.

When I filled out a survey about my experience, I noted this disorganization and our poor experience and said that I would want to be contacted. Of course, I was never contacted. I have been to Skyzone before for their "Toddler Time" and it was not disorganized, nor were there that many kids jumping. I would probably return for "Toddler Time" again, but never for a special event like last Saturday. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend attending an event here to any of my friends or family members.

EDIT TO POST: I contacted the email address provided below twice since she commented, and I...

One of my friends and I took my 2 little boys there today for the first time ever. Finding parking was difficult and we had to parallel park across the street. Once we were inside we were confused as to whether we were supposed to fill out waiver info first, or sign up and pay, and which desk to pay at. We went to pay first and they told us to fill out waiver info and come back. When we told them which bounce package we wanted, they asked us if we would like to purchase socks. We said no thank you since we were already wearing socks and didn't want to add an additional expense since a basic 90 minute jump package is $25/person. Check-in itself was a pleasant experience overall, minus the confusion of the waiver completion first. Once we were inside, we rented a locker for our stuff and proceeded to bounce around on the trampolines for a few minutes. After being there for about 20-30 minutes, we had several different Sky Zone employees tell us that if we wanted to bounce, we needed to go to the front desk and purchase special Sky Zone socks. Also, one of the employees that told us to get socks initially was very rude, and we noticed them speaking with another employee and pointing at us. She came up to us several times. We had already paid $100 for 4 of us to bounce for 90 minutes, and at no point when we were paying had anyone mentioned to us that Sky Zone socks were required to bounce. So we had to take the kids and all of us went up to the front desk to get socks, which took time out of our jump time. I explained the situation to one of the employees up front, and she was very kind and helped us with our socks. Then as soon as we went back in to bounce, another employee told us based on our color wrist bands, our jump time was up and we needed to leave. We hadn't even been there for an hour and had missed time to handle the sock situation. I am very disappointed in my experience with this place! Too much confusion, too expensive, and lack of communication to employees and confusing policies! I will not be recommending this place, and I will have to think long and hard...

I was very disappointed with my experience. My wife, and two daughters came to attend the Monday "Family Fun Night". The staff seemed pleasant enough, however the problems occurred after check in once we finally got out onto the trampolines. It was not particularly busy, with only a handful of other jumpers beside us. Our eldest daughter is 5 and our youngest is 2. We were not "allowed" to jump on the same trampolines as our children. We ended up taking our children away from the other jumpers to play in the "Toddler Zone". The girls were allowed to jump around in there and play, though despite us four being the only people in the area, my wife and I weren't allowed to jump, and were reminded of the fact multiple times, especially if our walking movements became ever so slightly "bouncy". We have been to several other trampoline parks such as Atomic Trampoline in Leesburg, VA and Rebounders in Sterling, VA. They are both the exact same style facilities, however unlike Sky Zone, they both allow and encourage "fun". I understand law suits may put restrictions on things, but the staff should be able to use critical thinking and reasoning before blindly intervening in things that need not be intervened in. We signed an extremely long waiver that absolves them of responsibility for any injuries we might face. The fact that there was almost no one else there besides us (there was actually good chunks of time when it was only us four on the trampolines) and they still hovered around to recite rules and regulations at every "misjump" we took was very aggrivating. The whole experience was needlessly uncomfortable. I am not sure why they call it "Family Fun Night" when having fun with your family is apparently prohibited. It's ridiculous. With two other trampoline parks in the area that actually allow engaging family play, we definitely will NOT be returning to Sky Zone, which is a shame because it is a few minutes closer...
