On the evening of 5/3/24, I decided to treat my wife, daughter and two granddaughters to KFC at Garland Groh Blvd, Hagerstown instead of the usual burger and fries. I was waited on by a very helpful young man and asked how many chicken tenders that I could get in an order. He said they had a 12 piece so I ordered the 12 piece tenders along with the requisite sides that came with it. I also ordered the 5 pc chicken nuggets for my youngest granddaughter. The total cost was $49.80 (ticket # 4714 at 5:47pm). I drove home with the food to find that the order only contained 8 tenders. I quickly returned back to the Garland Groh Blvd KFC with my receipt. When I told the manager that I was shorted 4 tenders and showed her my receipt she asked if I brought back the order. I told her that my grandkids were hungry and that they started eating without me. Instead of quickly acknowledging their mistake, apologize and make up for it she looked at me like I was lying. I said why would I waste my time driving back to the store, miss out on having a meal with my kids just to try and get 4 more tenders without paying for them. Needless to say I was very upset about this Manager’s attitude towards me. Customers shouldn’t have to count pieces of chicken they orderd before leaving the premises to make sure the store got it right. Furthermore, when a customer returns and points out an issue with the order, the store manager should do everything possible to satisfy the customer and not question their motive. The manager actually told me that they gave me 12 tenders to begin with. She doubled down on her insult to me. Can you...
Read moreMaybe not a direct review of this restaurant but a review of KFC food as a whole. What a let down. Can’t say I eat at KFC often. It’s a rare experience. I had visited a Popeyes recently and was really craving KFC as I use to prefer their chicken more. My bill was $40. Average for chicken. This was for a 8 piece chicken strips meal and 2 large sides. This was just for me so I broke it into 2 meals. I’ll start with the chicken strips. They were small. A little undersized compared to their peers. The outer breading was decent with flavor and crispyness but the chicken inside was very dry and bland. Can’t say I enjoyed them at all. My 2 large sides were the Mac and cheese and mash potatoes and gravy and in my 40 years on earth KFC has done little to nothing to improve their sides which is a shame. Popeyes has oven baked real real mac and cheese. So does Chick fil A. KFC has some kind of fake instant junk. Same goes for their mashed taters. Instant mix with little flavor unless drenched in gravy and leaves you contemplating your life’s choices for spending $40 on this. All in all I have leftovers for today that I have little desire to finish. Because of this I can’t say I recommend KFC in general and would take my hard earned money elsewhere for better value and quality because even if my meal was made fresh at this location it would still...

I made an order for pickup online at kfc's website at 5pm for a 5:45pm time. Arrived and I was told they don't have the order (Garland Groh location is the correct one so it wasn't that error) and that they aren't associated with 'kfc.com' so they can't do anything. Then I was also told that they were closing and stopped taking orders an hour ago so that they could "prepare the chicken for tomorrow."
After hearing weak excuse after excuse we drove off to deal with it over the phone with their customer service line. Oddly enough, we saw people drive off with their food after we had left the drive thru line. To add to the mystery even FURTHER, the customer service representative was able to match my order number and bring up my total to be refunded, which is an incredible feat when you figure that, according to the drive thru worker, my order...
