I liked this store until the last time I was there. After being asked if I needed help twice I asked for a good concealer as well as a good contour color for my light skin. The woman literally didnāt listen to me. I told her I canāt have a contour that is warm because of my fair skin but everything she gave me made me look orange. She tried a couple on my face and eventually I just said āthis worksā because she clearly wasnāt getting me. She chose a dark colored juviaās place foundation for contour which clearly would be warm toned but regardless at this point I just wanted to get it over with so I could continue my shopping. The worst part is when she was done she decided to do my whole face with a contrast of super light and super dark stick foundation. Even though I wanted it off she started doing the other side but i was ok because I thought at least she doesnāt want me walking around silly with half my face orange and the other white... until I looked in a mirror. SHE SCRIBBLED ON MY FACE!! I feel like she had to have wanted me to look like a fool because it literally looked like a child drew on my face. Just a streak here, an opposite streak there, no blending. I wish I would have taken a picture but I was so embarrassed I wiped it off immediately. I canāt believe she had the nerve to make me look like that. My 7 year old could have done way better! but that wasnāt the end either. I continued to walk around the store looking for what I needed. I was checked on 4-5 more times!!! Every other minute her or someone else was checking on me. She did it 3 times. Clearly they must have profiled me and assumed I was stealing or something which is absolutely ridiculous based on the amount of money Iāve spent with them. To be this overbearing is unprofessional and I will say something if it happens again. Also apparently no one that works there knows appropriate makeup...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBack in July, 10 months ago I had my hair done at the hair shoppe in Chambersburg I did a review of the color purple to blue that ella did, That review got over 50k views but when I got ahold of her and asked if I could come back in and redo my hair because it had grew out and I wanted to redo it for my birthday coming up in april, She said she didn't have any time slots In the near future so I edited my review and let everyone know that, I also made a post on Facebook asking If anyone had any recommendations for another place I can go to get my hair done. One of my former coworkers in the nursing field recommended her Vivid Color Specialist at Ulta Beauty Salon, Patricia Holmes. (Trisha Lynn Webb on Facebook) She got me in right away like the next week and i'm so glad that I went to her. It was very affordable for the time that it took and she was very professional! I chose to get pink foils this time to make it more like a cotton candy look. She did an amazing job at picking the colors that would be bright and that I liked, they use pulp riot at the salon. We used ice skater for the blue, Velvet for the purple and mixed together Candy & Blush for the pink! She made sure I was comfortable entire time and really takes coloring serious and makes sure you are in love with the outcome! So glad I found another place and stylist to go to she said if I want to keep the color and not have to pay as much I should come back about every 8 weeks and we can touch up the roots! Which is good to know. I definitely recommend her, I actually like my hair more this time than last time and have had many...

I had an interview coming up, so I thought it was time to tidy up my roots. I went in for highlights and a trim. 4 hours later, my hair came out brassy (but, I have to admit, the cut was done well).
They offered to fix it, so I eagerly booked a follow-up to fix the wrong color. It just needed to be toned at this point - a simple, quick procedure, right? Wrong. ANOTHER 4 HOURS LATER, and I emerged with BLUE HAIR, and this was after my scalp was literally burning from all the products they had used while they were clearly messing up.
I had a sore neck from bending my neck backwards into the sink for 3 of the 4 hours, a damaged scalp, and Blue Hair. And guess what, they then charged me for this. Only after I called the manager did I receive a refund (just for the 2nd messed up correction appointment). God forbid they refund my original highlights that they did...
