South City Beach Park is a true oasis for those who seek the serenity of the sea without the characteristic bustle of the most touristic areas. Here, the water is warm and calm, inviting long days of relaxation and enjoyment under the Florida sun. The sand, always clean and fine, is perfect for walks barefoot at sunset or to build sand castles with the little ones.
The ease of parking is remarkable, I have never encountered the concern of not finding a place, which is a relief and allows the visit to be pleasant from the beginning. In addition, the park store is a great resource: always supplied with fresh water, assorted soft drinks and snacks for all tastes. It is the ideal complement for a day at the beach without complications.
The services, both efficient and clean, reflect the care and attention that the park’s administration has for its visitors. It is a detail that is really appreciated and that makes the difference in the general experience.
And best of all, its location is just perfect for those of us who reside in the Miami area and are looking for a retreat close to home. South City Beach Park ofrece la tranquilidad y belleza natural que South Beach no puede ofrecer debido a su popularidad y constante ajetreo.
In short, South City Beach Park is the ideal place to disconnect, enjoy nature and spend quality time, whether alone, as a couple or with the family. It is definitely a hidden treasure that deserves to be visited over...
Read moreThe beach is busy but not as quite compared to the ones down south so my family decided to take a little dip into the water. Pretty turquoise water but huge piles of seaweeds laying on the beach at the time during our visit. !!SECURITY ISSUES ALERT!! PLEASE BEWARE of robbery and pickpocketing in this area. I just lost my small purse (which has my Aussie passport, 35 dollars and all important ID cards) within the first fifteen minutes walking into the park! We went into the public restroom to get changed and my purse got stolen out of my sister’s backpack. When we walked into the restroom, there was a long line and a few more ladies rushed in later. But it was too late when I realized that my purse was missing!! Another girl also lost her wallet in the same area on the same day- she asked if we have seen her wallet too. We reported this case to the local police station and we are disheartened by this negative experience encountered here on our first day...
Read moreThis is a beautiful beach! BUT watch out for parking!! Forget it if you want to be on the beach for the sunset. The rudest policeman will close the gate and give you a parking citation as soon as the sunset time passes. That day, the sunset was at 7:34pm and I got a ticket not even 10 minutes later. The sky was a bright beautiful pink and there were at least 10-15 cars in the lot. But the policeman was happy to tell us that the gate close at 7:34 and we should thank him for not having our car towed cause there were to many of them... I received the ticket by mail and went to the court to pay the citation and even the clerk suggested me to contest it since it was only a few minutes between the sunset and the ticket. I don't know who I need to contact to say that it is a bit abused. Go to any beach in Palm Beach county and you will never have that problem. It was my first and last time. Avoid if...
