The actual beach is a clean, nice beach. The only problem I had is I happened to bring my service dog in today, and the (only) entitled life guard on duty proceeded to tell me dogs weren't allowed by whistling from his hut, and waving "no" mind you, I had just entered the beach and was no further than 10 feet away from it. When I yelled out, he's a service dog, he proceeded to climb down his hut, get on an ATV and drive 10 feet down, to ask for papers, I gladly handed him my service dog ID to not give the entitled degenerate a hard time, but I strongly suggest the city of Hallandale to have their public servants brush up on their knowledge of laws, while its not necessary for a handler to show proof of verification for a service dog, it is necessary for a life guard to know the only thing he can get as proof is the verbal saying of what service the dog provides, next time I get bothered for such a question, I'll definitely make sure to take a more...

There's a parking structure but it's expensive, small, and time limited. Only food available is at Etaru (an expensive Japanese beach front restaurant), Etaru Beach Bar, or at a gas station across the street. Public restrooms are next to Etaru Beach Bar. If you want a beach front park, walk a couple blocks south to South City Beach Park. There you will find an actual park with picnic tables, play ground, volleyball, restrooms and...
