!! You lost a customer. Rude lady/ owner and bad store policy!!! First time I shopped here the owner/ lady was nice and helpful excited to have finally opened a store up, pricing was a little higher( as expected, don't mind much supporting smaller businesses) and had decent selection of pet stuff for that size store. Second time I came in I bought a collar, I asked what was their return/exchange policy was incase it broke, she told me they couldn't do anything that i would have to contact the company of the brand. She said it won't brake it had metal buckle. I said I know it has a metal buckle that's why I'm buying it but my dog still breaks metal buckles and wanted to make sure about a warranty. I paid with debit and kept the receipt cause i wasn't sure on size. The next day I tried to return it because it didn't fit my dog. i had all the packaging, my receipt and my debit card that i purchased it with and she would not give me back my money. She said I would have to get store credit. That was enough to lose me as a customer. I didn't want or need anything else from the store and I had everything to return the brand new item. I ended up taking the store credit and coming back the next day and got dog food which was expensive for the cheapest bag I could find. A young man was ringing me up the Total ended up being a little under my store credit. The lady/ owner was helping another customer near by and butted in and told the young man that i had to buy something else that i couldn't get any money back, which i thought was rude as well. so I had to find something else. I ended up picking a smaller bag of food with the other medium size bag I originally picked up and had to pay even more just to use up the credit I think it was 14.00 more I had to pay on top of my store credit cause i went over and all i needed was dog food. This place is such a hassle and a scam to keep your money. I'll never be buying anything from there again. Don't shop here if you want to return something or want a pleasant...

They have a good inventory of high quality foods and products. The store is well organized and super clean. Products are without question priced higher than other stores. you could even walk around and fill out an amazon order for less if you really wanted to.
I have no problem spending a little more money with smaller businesses.
However, when it came time to check out the employee ringing us up, who I believe to be the owner was extremely rude. they asked if I had an account with them, and I said I think I do. I gave my last name and nothing came up in their system. They asked if I had filled out the form myself. Before I could respond they looked at me and said it seems to be men are the ones who can't fill this form out right. I thought I was hearing things and kind of nervously chuckled. I was in the system under my email and was told again that because I'm a man I didn't complete the form properly. At this point it got really uncomfortable but I stayed quiet. they rang up all our items and I tried to tap my card to pay. it didn't work and they started heckling me that I couldn't even use my credit card properly. "come on don't give up you can do it."
So completely uncalled for and extremely awkward. I could tell my wife's blood was boiling as well but I'm glad neither of us said anything. I don't know what this employees problem was, but clearly they have no hesitation being openly sexist and down right rude.
If the owner happens to read this I just want you to know that I did not fill out the form. You did during my first visit. Irony at its finest I suppose. I hope you use this constructivley because you do have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store was such a sham. I was on the fence about if a collar would fit my dog. The sales person told me just bring it back if it doesnt fit, no issues, we'll refund it well take it back no problem. You don't even need a receipt because you're in our system.
I just tried to take it back. A woman with long gray hair told me that there was a firm 7 days return policy and I said that wasn't really clear when talking to the sales person. The sales person said yeah no issues. This woman said we'll it's on the reciept....I looked and it is in tiny type on the bottom of the receipt in a mass of text. Who buys something and goes out reads the paragraph on a receipt after purchasing.
I tried to explain it to her and she said "I doubt that happened, I wasn't here, but I really doubt that anyone here would say anything like that." So now I have a 20 dollar collar that doesnt fit my dog and was called a liar by someone who wasn't in the store when I made the purchase. Full on called a liar.
$20 just cost this small business my $40-$50 monthly purchasing, my referral to any other pet owners and my very public disgust with their customer service.
