Let me start by I am not the type to go out of my way to leave a negative review but this one is definitely one everyone should know about If I could leave a zero star review I would! I have 2 tea cup dogs that are literally 3 lbs that I brought here for convenience only because I didn’t want to drive 30 Mins to the other groomer I been going to for years. A puppy cut price was literally $30 more per dog to start which I paid. Being more expensive I would expect a better job. I understand a dog isn’t going to sit still and accidents happen but they clipped my Yorkies inner leg and expressed to me they would take care of the vet bill I had to leave work early immediately to take the dog to vet, they made me pay for the other dog I was in such a panic I didn’t even look at her haircut and just paid the $62 and change bill but they chopped her all up and buzzed her chest BALD! All the layers on her hair were different lengths and they left her eyes dirty. Besides that the Yorkie and I sat at the emergency vet for 4 hours I ended up getting a bill over $300 and when I brought it back to pets in Paradise they apologized for the accident with the Yorki which is understandable accidents happen but I explained about the other dog that had a bald spot and how could they even take the money for the other haircut, they said it was her calic which it is DEFINITELY not! And there is nothing they could do. So I’m left losing 4 hours of my life and leaving work early losing money there, bringing my dog to the vet that I had to pay out of pocket, waiting for a check to get reimbursed and paying for another dog with a bald spot and a horrible haircut that cost double than what I’m used to paying and all I get is I’m sorry. I hope everyone actually reads this post and don’t bring Their animal...
Read moreI had several bad experiences with groomers before someone recommended Pets In Paradise. One local boarder/groomer put her in a cage and forgot to groom her. The big chain store I took her too said my dog was agressive and very difficult. The last time took her there, she was obviously sedated with something without consulting me. After that I bought a grooming kit and though "How hard could it be?" That didn't work. By the time I found PIP, my little Bichon-Poodle was a mess, but I was afraid to take her anywhere. This is a high maintenance dog that hadn't been groomed on over 6-7 months so she was a mess when I took her to PIP. I told them her history of nipping at clippers and that other groomers found her frustrating and difficult. When I got her back that day, they said she was just a little nervous when they did her legs, but otherwise was fine. I've been taking her there every 8 weeks since, for the past couple of years. Now, when I say "Spa Day" she doesn't cower, she gets excited. When I pick her up, she's happy. She doesn't act traumatized or lethargic, which were problems in the past. I couldn't be happier to have found a groomer...
Read moreWe have been coming to pets in Paradise for years ...Our 9 year old mini poodle has had some good groomers and some not so great ..... But today when he was groomed he had a few knots and usually they trim him nice and leave some hair and that's that but for some reason today maybe someone in training sheared our dog down to the skin...He has marks on him... I was so upset I couldn't believe it.... Instead of taking their time and trimming him right I guess it was going to take too much time to do so they just sheared him down to his skin and left marks all over him.. This is abuse.!!!.. He's had some knots before and I understand that they have to trim him but not take him down to his skin where he actually has marks from it.... So unbelievable disgusting... Please don't take your pet here...They do not care like they say they do or this would of never of happened plus they charged us...
