Chris, with his chiseled jaw that could cut glass and a hair flip worthy of a shampoo commercial, has not just worked at Bayou Pawn—he’s redefined it. His presence is a radiant beacon of fabulousness, turning the shop into a runway where every sale is a fashion show and every negotiation, a dance-off. Chris doesn't walk into a room; he sashays, leaving a trail of glitter and gasps in his wake.
Key Achievements:
Like a true beauty queen with the benevolence of a pageant winner, Chris welcomes each customer with a sparkle in his eye and a compliment ready on his lips, ensuring they feel as special as a limited edition, vintage Cher bobblehead.
Chris’s eye for style is unmatched, turning Bayou Pawn into the Louvre of pawn shops. Under his guidance, items don’t just sit on shelves; they perform, darling. Each piece, from feather boas to retro disco balls, is displayed like a work of art in a gallery curated by the gods of glam themselves.
With lashes so long they deserve their own zip code and a wit just as sharp, Chris has elevated haggling to an art form. He doesn’t just negotiate; he bewitches, leaving customers wondering how they ended up purchasing a bedazzled cowboy hat but feeling like they absolutely needed it.
Areas for Improvement:
Chris’s punctuality operates on diva time, which is to say, he arrives precisely when he means to—always fashionably late, but worth the wait. His entrances are events, and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Chris believes that if life isn’t draped in sequins, you’re just not living. While his desk resembles a drag queen’s dressing room, it’s a constant reminder that in a world of monotony, Chris chooses magic.
Recommendation:
Reward Chris with a raise, or at least a crown. He’s not just an employee; he’s royalty. And let’s face it, Bayou Pawn without Chris’s flair would be like Mardi Gras without the...
Read moreUPDATE: after taking my watches back to the shop Vernon was very professional and offered to repair the damage and refund the battery change cost. The watches are fixed and I told him to keep the money. I have updated my review to 5 stars as the business was quick to reach out and remediate my issue. Great job!
I have shopped here many times, I decided to take 3 watches into the store for battery changes. I'm honestly extremely disappointed with the service that Bayou Pawn and Jewelry provided to me, attention to detail and quality are two words that come to mind. Check out the pictures, on both watches the case back was not put on centered, which is a small detail but one that matters nonetheless. The bigger issue was with the Bulova watch, there is now a deep scratch in the watch case/back from where it is obvious the employee tried to remove the case. This type of service is not what I would expect and I would not recommend taking any watches to them...
