UPDATE: after taking my watches back to the shop Vernon was very professional and offered to repair the damage and refund the battery change cost. The watches are fixed and I told him to keep the money. I have updated my review to 5 stars as the business was quick to reach out and remediate my issue. Great job!

I have shopped here many times, I decided to take 3 watches into the store for battery changes. I'm honestly extremely disappointed with the service that Bayou Pawn and Jewelry provided to me, attention to detail and quality are two words that come to mind. Check out the pictures, on both watches the case back was not put on centered, which is a small detail but one that matters nonetheless. The bigger issue was with the Bulova watch, there is now a deep scratch in the watch case/back from where it is obvious the employee tried to remove the case. This type of service is not what I would expect and I would not recommend taking any watches to them...

Worst place to get a batterie change for a watch. First day it’s too complicated to work on the guy that does them will be here Monday (female employee) Second day, did batterie change, screws where stripped and watch face wasn’t straight, one of the buttons didn’t work after. Third day, came back to get it fixed polished the screws because they were scratching my arm, fixed watch face. Fourth day, came back again because none of my buttons where working and the face was off centered again. Fixed it FIFTH DAY!!! WENT HOME WATCH FACE OFF AGAIN AND BUTTONS DIDNT WORK AGAIN. OPENED THE WATCH AND THEY DIDNT PUT THE BRACE BACK ON THAT HOLDS THAT WATCH FACE BACK ON!!! SERIOUSLY!!! How do you forget to do that. 3 people worked on my watch and didn’t want to take a blame for why it’s having problems who are adults but a 16yo who has no experience with watches can fix...
