GameStop — Attraction in Hammond

I am a Truck driver and I had a delivery at Walmart. While waiting for my truck to get Loaded I walked over to GameStop a sweet young lady with short hair greeted me in and offered me with help. Very polite. While I was there looking at the Pokémon collection I could hear an employee belittle the lady that had been helping me. It took everything in my power not to get involved. He was talking to her like she didn’t know what she was doing. He made this sweet lady cry. I asked him his name and I am almost positive that he said his name was Edward are Ed. He then informed me that he was the acting store manager. I don’t know when it came appropriate to belittle and bully an employee. I felt sorry for that sweet lady. I was disgusted at the way he talked to her. I wish I could have gotten her name. I will not be going back to the Hammond, Louisiana location. He was outright disrespectful. Short story: best buy is way more helpful and has brand new controllers for cheaper than gamestops used one.

Long story: Stopped in to get a PS3-4/XBOX RC that would pair with my tablet to game with. I've had garbage bags with holes in it that were more helpful. The employee acted like a know it all in front of other customers and said "idk it probably won't work thats not how its designed" and then jumped all around the question acting technical. Couldn't look me in the eye while he talked. Was more worried about appearing like the smartest guy in the room. A customers 6 year old in the store knew what I was talking about and walked me through it. Went to best buy, bought a brand new xbox controller for less And it pairs up to my tablet in seconds.
