Sharing this experience from a Missourian! Walked in to be greeted by 3 girls leaning on the counter waiting for something to do. Was directed to right side of restaurant where 2 more girls were standing. We took our seats in an almost empty room where a group of guys where sitting around 1 table, laughing and cracking up, and 1 quiet couple were seated at another. We had went in expecting a fresh seafood experience, good food and a quiet atmosphere. Since I am a weakling when it comes to spices, I ordered the mild platter with seasoning. The plates themselves looked great, but, the corn was tough and overcooked. The crawfish and shrimp, tough and over cooked. The waitress brought shell crackers 10 minutes into the meal, had to ask for melted butter, and I wished I'd gotten the no seasoning as it was almost too spicy to eat. Took over half of it to go and ended up leaving it in the hotel fridge. Chose to eat here since apparently most folks eat early and restaurants close by 6pm. Wish we had eaten earlier. Cost...

(80.00 )The order looked great when we got it..we checked it over all items were recieved. But when made it home. 11 mins away... The crab legs were empty, the shrimp were soft and mushy. I ended up throwing mines away and my daughter said she wasnt wastimg her 40.00. She ended up feeding it to the neighborhood cat. I'm so disappointed they knew the crab legs felt light and that they were empty..any person can tell when they are picking up a emptu crab.I will definitely crack them open on front of them next time. As far the shrimp they knew those shrimp was old, overcooked and soft. I visit this place at least three times a week. This is first time ive actually been this disappointed. Everyone says its better dining in. Why cant it be better going home? Im really disappointed thats too much money to be spending and my food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a really great place. The seafood is some of the best Iāve tried in Lousiana/Mississippi. My party got the platter that comes with lobster, crab, shrimp, potatoes, boiled eggs, corn, sausage, and we added mushrooms. It stated enough that it was for 4 people but it easily could have fed 5-6. They have multiple butters/sauces that you can choose for the seasoning. We tried the Lousiana, which was spicy (although we ordered mild). We had to order an additional sauce as well because thereās not enough provided in the platter.
The service was okay. The waitress could have been more attentive for the price of the food but itās possible she was still in training or new to the job.
No overall complaints, aside from the fact that they donāt provide seafood crackers (the device used to open the crab). We asked for a set and they said they only had one in the whole restaurant, which I found slightly ridiculous. Other than that minor issue everything...
