Music Express Car Audio — Attraction in Hammond

So I've never once been compelled to leave a review but this place was so fantastic that I just had to breakdown and do it!! Music Express is by far one of the BEST shopping experiences I've ever had. They were extremely friendly, very helpful and actually listened to what I wanted/needed without trying to oversell me on something else. Which honestly, it could have been easy to do since I didn't know much about car audio!

BJ was very knowledgeable, professional and did my install in only 20 minutes! Other stores told me it would have to be scheduled and would take anywhere from 2 days to a week! I've done my research and I know for a fact they have the best install prices in the Hammond and BR area! (BR & Big Box stores were 2x's higher) Not to mention the best quality products with the BEST SERVICE you'll ever find! I picked out my stereo and walked out of the door with it installed in less than an hour! (I think it was actually closer to 45 mins!)

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EVERYONE support this local business! (No more box stores!!!) I had such an awesome experience yesterday that I'm heading back there later today to purchase more equipment and give them more of my money!!! They earned a customer for life yesterday and I've already referred several people to them. You'd be CRAZY to shop...

Our experience with these folks was horrible. We drove 45 miles to their shop, left our vehicle there and were told later that they had decided they did not want to do the work. They said they did not know how to do the basic installation of a stereo on a van conversion. What is odd is that the stereo in the front of the van is the same as any other van, but they claimed to not work on vans. They had promised to help out with a ride that would have only been two miles from the shop, then reneged later - lying and claiming they had not made the offer - out of pure spite. Happily, all ended well because we took our vehicle to another, much more experienced shop and had adults work on it instead. The work the new shop did was phenomenal - they are highly skilled and experienced (almost 30 years of experience) and it shows. So after having major technical difficulties with my custom designed stereo on my 4 wheeler, I decided to Google car stereo repair in Hammond LA. I briefly discussed my problem with my amplifier over heating and BJ the owner told me to bring it by his shop for a simple bench test... After a successful bench test and a very professional and interesting conversation with the owner, he decided to install a cooling fan within my amplifier enclosure. He not only told me step by step how to hook it up with new wiring that I purchased from him, he also drew me a very nice diagram of how to do so. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone in need of not only parts and labor as well professional detailed information. Thanks for all of your help...
