Truth Hookah Lounge — Restaurant in Hammond

Honest review: I patron this business lots of times just because it’s a black owned lounge in downtown Hammond. However, the cleanliness of the lounge needs major work like the disgusting women’s bathroom. I went with some friends on may 2, 2025. The last few times I’ve gone the ladies bathroom looks as if it’s never cleaned, sonetimes no hand soap, a dirty toilet bowl that looks like it was found in an abandoned house, & never replenished with paper towels or toilet paper. I had to go to the men’s bathroom to retrieve toilet paper to use. Other than that, my friends and i had a relatively good time. This place was okay the food was portioned small we got there at 9pm for ladies night and didn’t get our food until after 11pm but we did get our drinks well after waiting 30 mins, I do understand that they are short staffed so I figured that played in a role but we was upset once we realized the table that was seated after us got their food, hookah, and drinks way before we did once they did bring out the food my mom got the lamp chops and they was ICE COLD so she sent it back and they did fix it and bring it back we expressed our concerns and problems to the owner, he did his best to fix everything but all around bad experience and will not be...

Waited an hour for wings… someone came in after me ordered wings and a flat bread they got all their food n I had to cancel my order because it was never going to come sad my first and last time coming. They never tended to me because I guess guest by themselves they are not worried if they are having a good time or if they got everything they needed or order sad.

Spoke with manager who was sitting right next to me playing the game and he told the bartender where are her wings …. He asked the cook and the cook said he only had one order. I was not offered a drink on the house I was not offered something else to eat very...
