On Labor day, 9/4/23,my husband and I went around to different furniture stores as I wanted a new living room set. We were at Ashley's prior to coming to Price Buster's. My husband remembered that Price Busters sells Ashley Furniture and we had purchased from them in April 2023. We went to Mechanicsburg, PA Price Busters. There we dealt with Grant Geist. We purchased the Ashley Texline sectional Which was $5,441.59, of which, I put down $1,441.59. While discussing delivery and final sales items, my husband and I were discussing how we were going to be redoing the floors in our living room area and we would have to place it somewhere else for the time being but would have to be somewhere that they could be set up and checked before the drivers left. Grant stated that the delivery drivers do not set up the furniture. I stated "when we bought furniture before from here the people that worked here prior (we were told they were fired for wrong doings) told us DO NOT LET THE DELIVERY DRIVERS LEAVE UNTIL THE FURNITURE IS SET UP AND ALL ITEMS WERE CHECKED FOR WORKING ORDER. Grant stated again that it was not their job to do this and that we were to "let the delivery drivers leave and if there are any issues call me and I will take care of it." I even stated that they have me sign a paper stating that everything is good before they leave. He still stated to let the drivers leave and assured us he would take care of any issues. I asked him what his name was so I could write it at the top of the attached invoice so I knew who I would speak to if something was wrong as I was very uneasy about not checking the items before the delivery drivers left. Fast forward to the delivery day. My husband and I both work day shift. I got a call stating they would be there in an hour. I got to my house approximately 10 minutes prior to the hour mark. I then waited another hour. When they arrived they asked where I wanted them. They put them where I had said and I signed the paper and let them leave as Grant had instructed me to do. My husband unboxed the items where they were placed by the drivers then moved them to the living room. During unboxing my husband noticed damage to the corner of one of the boxes. While placing the furniture my husband noticed that the end reclining section (that came out of the damaged box) did not match up with the rest of the couch and there was a tear in the corner of the back of that section as well. My husband contacted price busters and spoke to Grant. Grant stated he didn't handle customer service stuff and that my husband needed to email the claim but my husband would have to call back the next day because he didn't know what the email address was. My husband did that, then emailed the claim and pictures. I then called the location we bought from. The Gentleman I spoke to said that Grant was not there today and that he was the associate that attempted to assist with the claim to Ashley's. I explained the situation to him and he said Grant would be there on Saturday. He was nice but didn't offer any kind of resolution. So, getting nowhere and becoming more angry I called a location that Google showed to be the corporate office (Baltimore, MD). They were very helpful and explained steps I should take to attempt some resolution. I sent another email and called the leasing agency we went through. The leasing agency got nowhere with getting a replacement piece as pricebusters said there was no damage upon delivery. I'm assuming because i signed the paper I WAS TOLD TO SIGN and let the drivers leave. Let me explain, I understand things happen, but I would NEVER have let the delivery drivers leave without checking it unless I was told to do so as this is an over $5,000.00 piece. Ā Ā Ā Read moreReally surprised by the great reviews about this place.I am giving 2 stars because the delivery was on- time and assembly took less than 30 minutes. But had horrible experience with the store. Salesperson seems tobe rookie and wasn't aware of anything at all about the furnitures.Kevin and some other lady were trying to help but he didn't let them. Also, we wanted to opt a monthly payment option after putting down half of the price of furniture but he said that won't work and made us pay the full amount. Now I think we should have taken a second opinion about that.Kevin said he and the other sales person can come and assemble the furniture once delivered at a reasonable rate.But when we called the store after the delivery, they asked 3x more cash than the actual agreed rate!!!So we hired a local handy man and he did it for even lesser rate. But unfortunately, one backrest cushion was missing and when I called the store, the person attended the call put me on hold indefinitely.I hung up after waiting for over 30 minutes. Sent mail and no response yet. We are planning to wait for some more days and lodge...

We were greeting upon arrival by Lori, who was genuinely friendly and offered her assistance. without pressuring us at all. None of the staff were pushy or made us feel like we were being "watched". We took our time looking over the furniture selections and testing them out - we were looking for new living room furniture - and were pleasantly surprised with the variety that they had to choose from. We actually spoke with several other staff members during our visit - thank you Jamal, Kevin, and Kayla - all of whom were very knowledgeable and pleasant and did not try to sway our decision one way or another which is a huge in my opinion. Just an overall non-stressing experience and we really appreciate that. Thank you Price Busters team - all 4 of you - for your help and assistance with our questions! We definitely recommend this location and will not hesitate to shop here again. Can't wait for our new furniture...
