Morning Fuel Mechanicsburg — Restaurant in Hampden Township

Will be returning with my nieces and nephews! The menu has a nice variety of options--most people will probably find something they like at Morning Fuel. Staff kindly offered to make a custom allergy-friendly version of their waffles/pancakes! Lots of variety on the menu: sweet + savory crepes, southwestern flavors, traditional breakfast items and sides, milkshakes, hot and cold espresso and coffee, chai and macha tea beverages, unique mocktails... They have their own brand of Guatemalan coffee. Espresso was strong, very bright, and a little citrusy with a long pleasant aftertaste. Both bar and table seating are available. It was quiet enough to sit and get work done this morning (before 10 AM). Nice Atmosphere and the service was excellent. I think everyone working stopped at the table which was a little much after the 5th person came to chat. The food was decent but a bit pricey for breakfast considering all the existing diners in the area. I had a basic western omelette @ $12 which locally I can find at $8 to $9 other places. Add in coffee for $2.95 my tab was just a Nickel short of $15. I only saw one breakfast meal under $10 and that was two basic pancakes at $8. Being retired and on fixed income I doubt I will be a regular at the prices I viewed on the menu. Still if money is no object you might...

Walked in and we're immediately greeted by a warm smiling staff, the first thing we noticed is just how bright, open, and clean it is. It's such a great atmosphere, modern yet cozy at the same time. Tried the chorizo breakfast bowl, wife chose the stuffed French toast. Absolutely incredible. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had, full of flavor and very visually appealing with large portions too. Everything was peak fresh. Its not diner food and blows all of the "diners" around here away. This place will be here for a LONG time..Already looking forward to our next outing to try other things...
