Harker Heights City Hall — Attraction in Harker Heights

Extremely disappointed in the Code Enforcement in Harker Heights. I dealt directly with the supervisor Calvin throughout my complaint process, and he was unresponsive for long periods of time. When he finally replied, he only offered excuses and dismissed my concerns - even though I provided specific, documented violations straight from the city’s own code.

It is clear that enforcement wasn’t being applied equally, and there appeared to be bias in which complaints were acted on and which were ignored. If you’re not part of their favored group, good luck getting any real help.

This kind of negligence from a supervisor is unacceptable. What’s the point of having city codes if the very people hired to enforce them refuse to do their jobs? It’s no wonder this town struggles to grow, accountability is...

The storm blew my trash can away while I was at work 7/19/21, I've called everyday for 4 days and the most they have done is taken a message with my name, number and service address. No call back. No new can. I called waste management and they just tell me to call the city, they won't even stop billing me considering I haven't had trash services because I don't have a can. This is ridiculous.
