Bite the Bagel Deli Cafe Harker Heights — Restaurant in Harker Heights

Absolutely amazing. We took our daughter their for her birthday lunch today and she ordered the lox and cream cheese bagel sandwich (she was a bit scared to try it) she fell in love with it on first bite. Said it was the best thing she ever had. My wife and I split the cheesesteak sub sandwich and oh em ghee wad that sub magnificent. So so yummy. The meat in it was perfect. The bread was so just fresh and tasty . I got a specialty Frappuccino and the owner helped me make the perfect choice even made it somewhat sugar free.. (the Frappuccino powder is not sugar free but the rest was) it was the perfect drink. We had a Blueberry crumble muffin it was so moist and delicious. Everything was excellent. The conversation was excellent, the help was excellent, the whole experience was excellent.. we got some bagels and a cookie to go and let me tell you $13 for a bakers dozen of freshly made wonderfully tasting bagels and a huge cookie , how can u beat that? U can't bcuz those bagels are to die for! This placeis a MUST TRY!!!! I'D GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF I COULD. SURE WISH WE HAD ONE IN TEMPLE! I’m pretty dissatisfied with this place. I’ve really only ever ordered breakfast and that has always been delicious. However, I primarily use DoorDash or Grubhub to get it delivered. This restaurant has the WORST delivery service conduct I’ve ever experienced in my life. There have been multiple times, too many to count truly, where I order food, wait an hour, then get told my food won’t be delivered because the restaurant is closed. If you’re closed for holidays you should make sure your Google page reflects that and your delivery page reflects that, like most restaurants do. Then, again on multiple occasions, I’ve ordered a muffin and received something completely different without being contacted. The first time this happened, I wasn’t contacted and received what I thought was my order. I took a bite and could taste the cinnamon immediately, which I’m allergic to, and had to go take some of my medicine before it got out of control. They should really be careful with this before someone seriously gets hurt. I’ve tried to leave multiple reviews on different services before I come to Google and do this, but this place needs some...

First time trying this place today and it’s not that great. I was hopeful because of all the good reviews. I usually go to Panera to get a bagel but since we were in HH we stopped to give it a try. Well first of the service is pretty slow. Took them a good 15-20 mins to hand me my order. Which was only a bagel and spread. I didn’t know that they don’t slice them open for you but I now realize that I asked for the spread on the side so I’m guessing that’s the reason why they didn’t slice it open I had to use a fork to try to open it in my truck. 2nd, the bagel was cold to the touch, I figured they would warm or toast it but since they didn’t ask I though we’ll maybe it was my fault I didn’t say anything for them to toast it, 3rd, I ordered a blueberry bagel and It did not have any sweetness to it. Taste like pizza crust. Literally no flavor, my sisters was the same. It smelled like French toast but tasted like pizza crust. And lastly, the honey walnut spread we order was not sweet AT ALL! didn’t taste like honey at all. It was literally only unflavored cream cheese with walnuts. I’ll stick with Panera...
