Review I booked my hair appointment for my wedding three months in advance, and I should have known it would be horrible. The day I went in, no other customers were in the salon. I met with the owner, and another lady, and the owner seemed like she could care less that I was booking with them; she was very dry and seemed so inconvenienced that she was helping me. I paid in full for five bridesmaids and got my confirmation paper with both our signatures and the date and total amount paid. The week of my wedding, all my vendors were calling me to confirm, and I thought it was weird they never called to confirm the hair. I called the day before my wedding, and the girl who answered said, “Ugh, we have no weddings scheduled.” she told me to hold and came back on the phone and said oh yeah, the girl who booked you never wrote it down, and so we just didn't have it on the calendar.” I asked to speak with the owner, but they said she was busy and they would call me back. This happened at 12, and I never got a callback, so I called them back at 3. I asked to speak to the owner and was placed on hold. When the owner finally got on the phone, not once did she apologize or try to make it right; she simply said, “Well, we're booked already tomorrow, and we didn't expect someone to quit recently, so I don't know what you want me to do” I told her it was the day before my wedding. Hence, I needed her to do our hair still, and she told me she would do maybe two to three girls but not the rest of the bridesmaids. I told her I needed all the girls to be serviced as that's what we paid for, and she said she would ask if one of the other girls would come with her and would let me know. She never called me back, and I called back at 4:30 to let her know I needed to know because if not, I needed to hire someone else to come do all five bridesmaids. She responded, “Well, I don't know; the girl has not gotten back to me yet, but I'll let you know.” At this point, I just wanted a refund because I needed to find someone else who would be able to do our hair. The owner also told me they knew a week before they would be unable to do my wedding but didn't call me because they lost my number and thought I should have called earlier to confirm, basically making it seem like it was my fault. She also told me they didn't write down my appointment when I booked because they didn't have a calendar for 2024 yet! Mmmm, if you're taking appointments, my first tip is to get a calendar. If you want to book with this salon, that is totally fine, but I hope this does not happen to you. I was having a great day, and this ruined a significant portion of it. Best of luck to anyone who thinks this is a good idea to book with them. Read moreI’ve been coming here for about 1-2 years about every 3 months always a great experience. Although, this time became more work for me than anything. I have really long thick hair that I maintain and trim about every 3-4 months. I asked for long layers and just 1-2 inches off the length with curtain bangs (shortest layer being about shoulder length). The stylist then used really big scissors that had pretty much like a comb attached. Now I know they were thinning scissors. I never asked for the stylist to thin out my hair. Super sad about it, now looking for shampoo that will help get my thickness back until it grows out. “Worst Brazilian wax I have ever received. This service should not be offered when it does not know how to be performed. I was shamed for having hair and was blamed for her not being able to finish the service. She was obviously very uncomfortable and it made me uncomfortable.
