Pretty cool spot, beautiful in the spring time for the cherry blossoms.... But like most things in HSBG, it's unfortunately marred by the city's inability to come up with any real solutions for the unhoused/drug problem besides knocking down tent cities and calling it a day. Sure it's not all bad, call me a pessimist I suppose, but three bodies and countless syringes later, I'm pretty good on this spot. It can be very pretty though.

The best time to go is during the last few weeks of April since that’s when the trees are fully in bloom and petals are covering the ground. I went on April 22. By the riverside, there’s beautiful yellow flowers. WARNING: Homeless people tend to show up in the area, so keep that in mind if you visit. My friend and I had a stranger follow us before.

The Harrisburg Sunken Garden is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The beautifully landscaped garden offers a peaceful retreat with vibrant flowers, elegant pathways, and a serene atmosphere. It's a perfect spot for a quiet walk, photography, or simply enjoying nature. The care and attention given to maintaining the garden are evident, making it a lovely place to visit year-round. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tranquil escape...

3-24-2019 This time of year all the shrubs and trees are dead looking! The Gazebo is very weathered and should be replaced! Its passed the point of repair!

Looking forward to when everything is green again! It is very nicely laid out and below the traffic on Front Street that is not visable from the sunkin garden! You get a nice view of the Susqy River from the garden!

Nice place for a small wedding, if the...
