Horrible.... A true nightmare. First off customer service there was none. 3 lazy women standing around. They looked really unhappy to be there. The place was dirty for a female establishment. Even the wheels on the chairs were covered in hair. I saw one lady doing braids to a girl's head. They were awful braids, very messy. So I new she wasn't touching my head. The main lady decided to do my braids. I asked for 4 large braids. Showed her 3 different pictures. She just kept shaking her head saying yes yes yes. She didn't understand anything I was saying but lead me to believe she was listening to me. I asked for the braids to come to my waist. They stopped at my breast but she kept saying. Wait I fix. But she never did. The braids on my head were to skinny but in the middle of the braid was super fat. And the very end was super skinny. After 2nd braid I realized I was going to remove this immediately. But i was going to have her finish it. Once she was done braiding it. She dumped a quarter jar of gel on my head and began to rub it in. I was shocked. Then she grabbed pump it up hair spray and started spraying like crazy. Im even more shocked. She places me Under a drying and says sit. 1. If she could braid she wouldnt need gel hairspray or a dryer. ( mind you I have good hair) 2. Her braiding was so messy and careless. She put no effort into what she was doing. 3. She pulled at my hair extremely hard and broke off pieces of my hair with her carelessness. I could hear my hair breaking as she braided. Not to mention the lady beside me still braiding a girl's hair while running her mouth the entire hour and a half that I was there on the phone speaking in her language very loud. Not even giving herself time to take a breathe. I thought she was on the phone alone because whoever she was talking to couldn't get a word in. I wanted to jump up and say shut the hell up please please. If she was doing my hair I would of ran long time ago. Very unprofessional. These 3 ladies spoke no English the whole time I was their and you could clearly tell they were talking about customers to each other. Once i was truly fed up. I just took the dryer off stood up paid and tipped her. Grabbed some napkins and began to wipe the tons of gel away from my face ears neck and hair as I walked out of there shaking my head. I almost began to take the braids out as I was leaving. Never would i ever go near that place again. And your crazy if you do. I left there looking like my hair was braided 2 weeks ago and my parts look like a 5 year old parted my hair. That shop has 3 women who are liars because they say they can braid hair. False advertisement. They all need to go back to school. And also take a class in customer service. 1 of the worse experiences when having my hair done ever. I support black businesses and that's why I paid her. But they won't get another dime from me. This is my first review ever writing. But im trying to save the next sister some time. Not everyone is as nice as I am. This could of went...

I went there to get my hair done last Christmas because my regular hair stylist was out of the country. My scheduled time was 8:30 am. I got there at 8:15 am. I Sat and waited for about 20 mins. When I got to the chair, I told her what I wanted. She started with my hair around 9:15 am, and I did not leave until 9:30 pm.

The level of dissatisfaction I left from that experience and my hair prevented me from getting my hair braided again for 7 months. During my 12 hours sitting in that chair, she spent more time on the PHONE and TALKING to other hair stylists. At one point, she left for a few mins, then came back, then an hour later, she took a 30 mins lunch while I was sitting there. She braided my hair for another hour or two, then went to get her kids, fed them, and sent them off, then started my hair again. I was beyond annoyed and upset about the lack of professionalism that was shown, and on top of that, I told her NOT to braid my edges, and she went braided my soul into them. The level of pain I felt for the first WEEK after brought me to tears. The braids were too HEAVY for the hair from my edges that it caused my hair to be ripped from its roots. It was so bad that I reached out by phone and text asking if I could come back to have the braids at the front redone. I got no response via phone or text.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. It is not worth your money...

Well my hair looks great even tho I was there extremely longer then expected i have been going to this place for over 4 years Comba now has a different person in her salon she is very disrespectful towards everyone she mad smart comments about me in there language i know alittle of the language due to my being in a relationship with a African for 6 years so watch who you talk about and i will never return there as long as that women is in that shop. Comba's salon was never like that i never felt uncomfortable i enjoy her children they are great but the employee there needs to return to where ever she came...
