ALDI — Attraction in Harrison

I have shopped at this store for 5 years. I just had to worse experience I've ever had in a grocery store. I am shopping for three families that cannot afford groceries and myself. Extremely stressed. First the vegetable bags wouldn't open and would tear up. No big deal right. The whole time I was in the store I saw one employee every once in awhile walking around the front going from cash register to the back. When I finally got up there there was no one at the cashier I had so much and so many people I'm shopping for I needed some help. I have been shopping since 10:00 this morning . As every time I looked over there was no one there. I waited a couple of minutes looked around stood there no one. I walked over to the nearest self-checkout and number one it was filthy and I had to grab a Clorox wipe from the unattended cashier and clean it. Again that was after standing there a couple of minutes. Then I went to scanning and it would only scsn every other one I had to wait 5 to 10 seconds in between each one. And do it several times with every other item. I looked over a couple of times when I was having trouble no one at the check out. The whole time I'm doing it I'm looking around and not seeing her. Somebody else came up to check out groceries at the cashier line and I told them that I hadn't seen anybody there and then I told the people behind me that they do not want the self checkout register I was at. Still no one I am talking loudly and no one comes over. I finally get done at what seemed like forever and still no one at the cash register so I walk over to the office and knock on the door very loudly nothing I go to the back I said is anybody there very loudly no one ,walk back and this young girl comes up to me and says please do not yell at me. I said I have been looking for someone the entire time I was there which was probably about 10 minutes and have not seen you at all. She goes well I check somebody out I saw you while you're over there. I go really you didn't see me having trouble because I was constantly having trouble. I said there has not been anybody there and there were people in line and she argues with me and says that she had been there. She tells me they do not keep anyone at that cashier. Which I know is wrong because I come in here a lot and when there's customers in line there's someone there. I told her what troubles I was having with the self checkout she walks over and she goes oh so it's slow there's nothing we can do about that oh the codes off the vegetables don't work we can't do anything about that. Does nothing but talk back to me and does not show any emotion or Compassion or help or anything. Was the worst experience I've ever had with cashier in any store in my life. And I shop here couple times a month every month for the past 5 years. I could not find a manager there was no one else around. There was several things wrong with the store. There was trash everywhere on the floors there were very few eggs at front. And the whole place was in general a complete mess along with molded fruit. It took me forever just to get past the produce and get my things because everyone was staying in one spot for 3 or 4 minutes trying to find something that wasn't molded. ALDI... you gone way downhill you need to step it up and you need to find better employees or at least more of them. And why you don't have a manager on duty I have no idea why.

Oh and the man that had been standing there waiting till they had all their groceries on the belt for this girl looks at me and tells me to leave because by that time I was yelling and was extremely pissed off. And yes I do leave good reviews but they're on...

I love this store. You arrive and use a quarter to get a cart. It sounds odd, but people will walk back to the store and return a cart to get their $0.25 back, which keeps the parking lot clear. I recommend reusing bags or using fabric ones to avoid paying for them. Sometimes you can get an empty box for your goods if you didn't bring bags and don't buy one. This also sounds odd, but it helps keep prices low, moves the checkout line faster, and encourages you to save the planet. Prices here are particularly low on produce. I have found that other things here like milk, cheese, and eggs, are cheaper tan other stores. Sometimes by 1/2 the price even when they're not on sale. The new store layout is fantastic. I'm glad they put the produce by the front doors. I keeps people shopping healthier and, since that's something that's almost always cheaper than at other stores, it's quick to grab and check out without traveling through the...

This store was recently remodeled, so I am a little lost in there. It is a very clean store, nice and neat. As long as you remember it is not a "regular" grocery store you will do fine. The store sells a lot of their own branded goods. Some of these foods are great. I love the pancake mix, better than the big brand names. They have knock off's of brand foods, most are pretty good. Goog selection of baked goods, dairy products and vegetables. One of the best selection of fruits and vegetables at very reasonable prices. Today 7/25, the fruit and vegetables, bakery goods, meat, refrigerator items all seemed normal The isle's seemed to have less product than normal? It's probably me but while looking for the items I wanted it just seemed that there was less to look at. There was more non food merchandise on the shelves. Don't get me wrong I buy a lot...
