I unfortunately lived in Harrison AR for three years (it seemed like 20) and have always been a fan Of antique malls. This one is large and has a lot of vendors. The problems with this place include the fact that they allow just about anyone to have a booth. So you’ll be walking along an aisle with some booths that have some real antiques, and then there will be a booth filled with homemade cringe-worthy crafts that were made last week like aprons made of flower sack cloths , purses made of old quilts or fake LV purses and that kind of thing . The other problem here is the staff. The front desk is usually manned by some young girls or women that are so disinterested and unknowledgeable and just chatter incessantly to each other and are on their phone the entire time that you’re there. They are completely unknowledgeable about antiques and don’t know the difference between a Tiffany lamp and a Barcelona chair. This is not an upscale antique mall, but it’s a way to kill an hour or two in this horrible town that is devoid of all culture, Anything upscale or anything even remotely interesting in any way shape or form. Don’t waste your time in Harrison, Arkansas but tif you have to, I really wouldn’t waste my time with this...
Read moreI stop in here a few times each month. It's a big place. It has lots of booths with a variety of items. Prices are kinda high I think. It's not a place to find a steal of a deal. The vendors pretty much seem to price from eBay listings which is not an indication of value for sure, so you have to dig to find a bargain.I usually find something. The staff at the front are not very customer friendly at all. They obviously don't have a vested interest in making customers feel welcome. You're lucky if you get more than a plastic bag to carry your items out. Several times I have purchased large glass pieces only to have them hand them to me to carry or just a plastic bag. No wrapping paper most of the time. It's not because the paper isn't available, but rather it seems an inconvenience to the worker. They simply don't care. Just want your money and gone. But, most businesses are like that if the owner is not present to supervise. Also, it's a hard to get in and out of location with very...
Read moreAmazing magical place. If you are called upon something that you need, stop in for a short bit. You'll love the escape from it all it provides. If I were the owner, I'd charge a buck to go in. Well, no, I wouldn't. But, just go if you haven't been. You will be happy you did. So, what the heck... you've probably driven by it for years and never stopped in, so take 5 minutes out of that drive hone in a hurry to make dinner, or some more work. You go in, and everything falls off your back that weighs you down. (Dare I say that this place feels blessed) If you buy nothing, you leave feeling like you have an extra step in your walk. Gratitude, goodness. Just from this one place. When I go, I can step outside myself and remember what being human feels like....
