Mi wife and I had the surreal experience of watching these gentle giants glide just inches from us, performing elegant barrel rolls beneath the lights. It was like watching underwater ballet. Magical in Every Way

I don’t throw the word magical around lightly, but this truly was.

The manta ray night snorkel with Kona Snorkel Trips was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. From the hilarious, knowledgeable, kind-hearted crew, to the pure awe of floating in the dark ocean with giant manta rays, this night had it all.

Adam, Shari, and Alexis were hilarious, relaxed, and totally dialed in. They had us laughing the whole ride out, while also making sure everyone felt safe and informed.

There was this electric moment when the first rays appeared and all the boats around us broke into cheers. Everyone, complete strangers and tour guides, just lit up. It felt like we were all witnessing something rare and beautiful together.

And then came the close encounters. I locked eyes with a manta that had to be seven feet across. She did what had to be 6 barrel rolls right in front of me! Calm, majestic, absolutely unreal. It felt like a dream.

What I loved most was the respect this company has for the ocean. They don’t just show you the mantas, they help you understand them, appreciate them, and feel something for them. That matters. People protect what they care about, and this trip plants that seed.
