The park itself is nice; it has a separate younger kids and older kids play areas, but it’s been roughed up. One of the toddler swings looks like it was damaged from rough play. Some of the play stuff is also broken. I have been bringing my 1 year old son here, but I have to stick close, not because I’m a helicopter parent, but because every time I’ve gone to this playground, there are rowdy older kids (like 10 or so years old) running all over the toddler play area and not really paying attention to where they’re playing, so a couple of times they nearly ran over my baby when they were climbing up the tunnel slide or...
Read moreThis park is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood close the the Prince Kuhio Mall. The equipment is in great condition (with the exception of the big kid swings which are broken and missing) and there are frequently lots of kids to interact with. Shady spots to sit can be a challenge on sunny days if you don't bring your own chair. Shelter is non-existent for rainy days. Some of the benches need repair but most are fine.
