Puainako Center — Attraction in Hawaii

We went to the pizza place it was delicious, I've been to the MacDonald's there and ordered fries well done it took 20 mins and when I got them they were actually cold!!! There is a Taco Bell too and I am sorry to say this is the very worst Taco Bell in the USA, i have been to all 50 states so I speak from true experience, just for instance they fill their bean and cheese burritos with so much liquid that they have no taste, plus they fill them with less than half of what should be in there which means you're really eating a bean flavored tortilla . And forget about asking for the hash browns to be well done, which is what I made the mistake of doing, the drive through was moving super slow which is the norm and I was really hungry so I went inside and ordered egg and cheese quesadilla and hash browns well done. When I got my order I checked it not only where the hash browns not well done they were cold so I asked for them to be done right and the woman had the nerve to give me a dirty look when I finally got them my quesadilla was cold!!!! So if I were you avoid this Taco Bell...

A little bit of everything is available in this large strip mall. It is about 10 or 15 minutes walking time from the Prince Kuhio Plaza. There are 2 markets a couple of cell phone shops, many fast food shops and restaurants. The best place for locals to get a lot of things done in a short time and a great place for tourists to find the largest selection of food and drinks for their stay in Hilo or a picnic at the Kilauea volcano. You can catch a bus from Puainako Center to Volcanoes National Park. Stock up here before you leave for the day of sightseeing at Kilauea because it is the last chance to get your picnic supplies, drinks, medicine, sunglasses, sunscreen, ice, etc. at a reasonable price. Drive thru line is really long. During peak hours, they really should consider another person assisting w/ dropping fryer products and the fry line, incorporate Drive Thru Associates w/ handheld devices to avoid the build up & Runners who would hand deliver orders once they are ready throughout the line. Obviously, labor expenses would increase by at least 3 people.

This said, it works INCREDIBLY WELL in the Mainland and the sales could off set the cost. Not to mention, the basis of a customer service business, known as satisfaction, would increase dramatically.
