Tony Conte Formalwear — Attraction in Hawthorne

Wife left a review, I'm just reviewing what happened when I returned the suit. I explained that the jacket was too small and bunched at my shoulders and the sleeves went up too much. Rude guy, replied with, "do you stand like that all night." No, but people do eat and drink. Moving on..he stated that the shirt and jacket were both perfect fits. I tried them on and he said that since he's a rookie he'll bring out a 50yr vet. A fellow employee. Now of course, he says they fit fine. The shirt said 3xl, but rude guy said it was only a 1x. I'm a large! The sleeves were too short 32/33. All of my shirts are 34/35. The amount of excess material on the shirt was excessive. He replied with, it's tucked in and under the jacket...his replies tell you a lot about him snd his way of business. In other words, don't mind the huge baggy dress shirt cause it's ticked in and no one can see it. Guess it's not a real complaint.

Needless to say, the guy at the counter is arrogant and rude. Instead of trying to make things right, he brings out an expert to say how it is the right fit. I should've brought an expert with me too....

Will not be going back and I'll be sure that every review site knows how this...

We went here to find mother of the bride & mother of the groom dresses at the same time and Angela was incredibly rude. She REFUSED to show anything to the mother of the groom until the mother of the bride had chosen a dress first. She kept showing us things but saying "you're not getting this anyway" and when we told her our budget she told us we belonged "over there" and pointed to the back of the store. She then began yelling at us not to take pictures of anything even though none of us were trying to. She made it seem like she didn't want our business. She was very condescending and we left after 20 minutes without buying anything. We found dresses at the mall that we liked better than anything here and at a fraction of the price. will never be back. Don't bother with this place.

Update:

2 days after posting this review Angela Conte had the nerve to call and say that she was “nothing but nice” and that she “let them try my (her) dresses on” and requested that this review be removed. Obviously that’s not happening. Especially after a phone call like that. Let this be a lesson to the Conte’s about...

I need to give a huge shout out to Angela and Tony Conte Formalwear! Back in October I went to a different dress shop to order my mother of the bride gown for my daughter's wedding in May. In March, I called to check the status of my dress (that is when they said it would be in) and the lady had me speechless on the phone when she stated my dress would not be in on time! Thank God for Angela!!! My daughter called Tony Conte Formalwear and they were more than helpful. Angela had me come in the next day and showed me dresses that would be available to get in time for the wedding. They say "things happen for a reason" because I LOVE my gown more than the one I chose originally. Angela was beyond helpful! She showed me dresses that would compliment me and the colors that would look great too! Next time for my other children, I know right where to go! Thank you Angela and Tony Conte Formalwear for all of your help and assistance choosing a gown...
