American Legion Post 53 — Attraction in Hemet

Excellent place for all of us ex military men and women. Plus they're a nonprofit organization that helps our community in so many ways. Just one would be the sponsorship of 3-4 boys thru the boy scouts of America each year. Another would be the roll they play the Riverside National Cemetery as honor guard detail. And how they help with donations to people displaced by fires/disasters, etc... Please come visit us sometime. We have fundraiser breakfasts two Saturday's a month and spaghetti dinners on Fridays. Have to be honest. Had the spaghetti dinner. High prices for sub-par food that did not come with a drink. Old building in need of sprucing up. NICE PEOPLE. GOOD WORKS. PLENTY OF PARKING. Golden Smoothies and comedian were good entertainment. I support AL 53 for their service to our country and appreciate their community involvement. I would love to see them be able to do more with their building...

This is a great place for veterans and their families. There is also Bingo on Tuesday nights that is reasonable and sell pizza, long hot dogs, and ice cream bars before the bingo starts.
