Love Target, JC Penney's and the restaurants.... Need to bring Costco or BJ's to replace Sam's Club (they brought a T-Mobile call center)... Need a Krispy Kreme, Cold Stone, Macy's, Shoe Carnival, Brick Oven Pizza, Movie Theater, Peking, Talbot’s Woman, Dress Barn Woman, Massage Envy Spa, Saxon Shoes, Sassy’s …. More high-end / quality shopping so East Enders will stop shopping in the West End! It’s a never ending cycle…. You bring the C/D version of stores to the East send and then when it fails, owners think they have proven something about East send shoppers. Bring your A/B version of your stores and people will shop at the mall and there won’t end up being a lot of vacant stores or several of the same type of stores - nail shops, pawn shops, quick cash shops, cellphone authorized dealers, or low-end clothing and shoe stores. Read moreGreat addition to the East End of Richmond. A go-to mall for fast food, grocery shopping (now Publix anchored), a Target with Starbucks and Pharmacy and limited grocery, Michael's, JC Penney, Office Depot and plenty of chain restaurants. I remember when this area was nothing but trees but it is wonderful for East Enders to have so much available a short distance away. The mall has struggled to acquire and retain some stores but they are constantly working on the right mix. Most notably, Steak and Shake, Sam's Club and a fabric store left in the past year with little fanfare. This mall has also spurred growth of the two other strip malls across the street as well. It is poised for more growth...
Read moreI enjoy shopping at White Oak with the convenience of a grocery store, Publix, to fast food restaurants like Chick-fil-A, Q'Doba, or Firehouse Subs. J.C. Penney is around the back if the complex, along with Target. It is quite convenient, right off of Laburnum Ave. and right near the exit for interstate 64. My husband and I enjoy shopping here, as opposed to driving into the city of Richmond and fighting traffic. The traffic circles are a bit intimidating. As long As you know where you are going (it can be confusing which complex of buildings a place is in and in which street-front or back) it is realitively easy to get around. Still, a few times I have found myself in the wrong lane going into a circle and have had to keep going and turn around to get where...
