So. This is gonna be a journey. I went in yesterday with a friend to get our monthly boil. We loved this place. Yesterday, I felt fine and super excited to go out to dinner. When we walked in, a rotten seafood smell greeted us at the door. (My thought was they are a seafood place and even if they threw away old seafood the smell can still linger). We sat ordered pretty quick and received our food about 7 minutes later which was odd. The food quality was not the same and the muscles were shredded and shriveled. I only ate some sausage and some muscles and felt sick shortly after. I fainted at the table and as my friend screamed for help, she was looked at like she was just an angry customer and stupid. Our server came over and asked up if she needed more water and that’s when it was made apparent I had fainted. Nobody called 911, nobody helped us out. I woke up to my friend screaming my name. I sat for like five minutes then straight to the bathroom where all the food I had just ate came up. Still out it, when I went back I was giving my bill and charged. It’s baffles me not only did we not receive any help but still had to pay for something that was partially touched and caused me to get sick. My friend got her bag to go and the shrimp in her bag was old and could smell them when we opened the bag at home. She couldn’t finish her bag. Would love to be able to talk to management or someone higher up that can assist me because, the lack of help and good service was lacking. Our server was great and continued to bring me water, and we can’t blame her when all she does is...
Read moreWhat can I say? I’ve been going to this restaurant 2 to 3x a week and they have stayed pretty consistent with their food and business practice.
They have hired amazing servers and bartenders. The owner is usually on site and despite the very little English he speaks he makes you feel welcomed.
You can instantly fall in love with the sweet, kind and customer oriented servers. Even though they are a little unorganized at times they are attentive when they do approach your table. 👌🏼
80% of the time you will be flagging someone down to refill a drink, bring you some sauces or place another order. The other 20% of the time you will asked if you want a refill. 🫤
This has become the Cheers of my neighborhood at times the bar patrons can be deafening so I’d advise you to get there before 7pm.
Happy hour and lunch specials are very pocket friendly. What I would like to see? Google I would like to see the owner treat the regulars on a more personal level.
If I bring in 18 clients on a slow day reward the one that is Marketing your business for free. I would like to see the owner be more yielding to his business clients that are “consistent patrons.”
This was the first 4 months… let’s see how the rest of the year goes. Eventually people slack off or...
Read moreMy friend had already left a review but I was with him when he fainted at the restaurant. The server did everything she could but I was screaming for help for a long period of time before anyone had came over to check on my friend. I tried to not waste my food because we did pay for it so I took it home. However, when i got home and opened the bag an unpleasant aroma hit me hard and made me feel sick. I ate my muscles , corn, potatoes and eggs but had the throw my shrimp and both crab legs away because they were simply unedible. My crab legs were like rubber and i could completely bend them in half without breaking them so I never could get any of the meat out to eat. My shrimp were very hard to peel and the shells on them weren’t coming off so unfortunately I had to throw it all away. We did still pay, but I feel like we shouldn't have considering the situation and the fact that we barely got to eat any of the seafood in the bag because of the quality and smell, plus my friend completely passing out in the middle of the restaurant. No one offered to...
