Michaels — Local services in Highland Springs

I couldn't be harsh in this review because Michaels is one of my favorite stores!! And my one criticism is really more against something that's not even the employees fault. Everytime I go in this store there are areas that just have stuff thrown around haphazardly. And I know it's because some of the customers that go to this store are horrible people. The type that if something doesn't negatively affect them, they don't care about it. I have seen this myself. A customer is looking at something and tinkering with it. They then decide they don't want it for whatever reason. So, they let it drop to the ground, toss is back on a shelf that it didn't come from, or just leave it in the cart that they are gonna leave in the middle of an isle. Really having no consideration for the next person who may want to purchase it or if they damage the item. And after a handful of those types customers come in, there are sure to be some things out of place. So again, it's not even a knock on this store or it's employees. The general public can be downright trashy when they want to be. But now that my rant is done, go to this store!! It's awesome! It's a Michaels! Go get your craft on!! And you better have the app! It's rediculous the amount of money you can save...

Every time a run out of something or watch a YouTube video I find myself running into Michaels.

I design and make T-shirt’s and as in pulled my custom made transfer off I noticed that some of the design didn’t pull from the paper. Thinking hey it’s only white ink I rushed down to Michaels to find some thin fabric paint.

Staff are usually scarce here and always seem annoyed by your questions. Even management. The only people in the store that see happy is the chubby girl that works in framing. She was extremely helpful and always has been the two times I have ran into her.

All in all this is a great place to “get your creativity on.”

What I would like to see is some classes on making items with a circuit cutting other than T-shirt’s and stickers. I think if you sell it there should be a class on it so you can...

Me & my sister went in to buy branches and things that we thought we're on sale, to make a centerpiece. As it turns out we read the sign wrong. Didn't realize it when we were at the register. We were sad and disappointed, but there is a silver lining. Brittany the manager walked with us and showed us why the items were not the on on sale we thought were. Turns out it was sales on florals pre arranged, very confusing time. But then she proceeded to offer us discounts on the items we were trying to get. She didn't have to do that. But I can tell customer satisfaction is her priority, which means she trains her employees the same. She really did her thing in helping us out. She is awesome! Thanks again Brittany!
