IMHO some of the best theater in the Portland area. Well worth the drive to Hillsboro. Every year there are one or two productions that are outstanding - in 2023 "Red Velvet" deserved it's standing ovations. Small interest space. I particularly enjoy their Shakespeare inspired or approximate but not actually Shakespeare productions. And their Christmas shows are a lot of fun.

I had the privilege of attending their first Solo Fest. As an audience member, I was whisked away by storytellers that shared their inner most thoughts and feelings. It was beautiful and powerful to be witness to someone else's human experience. I think we need more performances like this, especially during a time in our history when relating to someone different, understanding someone else's struggle, is so important. After many years in the Venetian Theater just down the street, Scott Palmer was able to work with the city of Hillsboro to get the funding to buy an old bank building. Then after a $1.5M Capital Campaign, the new Vault Event venue was born.
