(4/13/25 9ish am) Update! I am happy to report we are back to 5 stars! The owner reached out to me (from her home) about 15 minutes after I called in and was so gracious! Like unbelievably gracious, even offering to recook them and deliver them herself. The Pizzarrio’s I fell in love with is still alive and well! I highly suggest you check them out. (In person is awesome with all the local talent they showcase or for delivery directly from their website.) And now you know if you have a less than perfect experience, the owner will make it right (but I’m confident it won’t come to that!). Enjoy!
(4/12/25 9:30ish pm) Zero stars. I usually love their pizza but tonight it was AWFUL! (So soggy that the center of the pizza-where the cut slices meet-stretch and stay in the box when I’d lift a whole piece of pizza out of the box [hard to explain and never experienced that with any pizza], missing ingredients, and uncooked veggies, as if they were added after the pizza was done baking). I called and Ashley, the manager was so rude! She was talking over me, making excuses, and saying it’s the same people here and they know what they’re doing…but never once apologized or asked how they can make it better or anything! She just defended the nasty pizza that cost me $95. I am blown away… they just lost 3...
Read moreGrowing up in europe I always longed for an authentical pizza here in the US. You can tell by the way a pizza looks on how it may taste. If you ever google steetviewed italy and looked at pizzas there you may see no difference between an authentic italian pizza and pizzarios pizza. Woodfired, toppings fresh and recognizable, not afraid of bold flavors in one bite paired with the balance of what makes pizza pizza: dough, sauce, cheese. My high expectations were met, even exceeded. Great ambience, friendly waitress (ty, Avery), even the lager was exceptional (it was mexican, the name eludes me, ask the waitress, who would have thunk. And NO, you don't put a lime in a perfectly balanced beer👍.) I had the vegetarian, o m f g, flavor explosion, half of my pie filled my 240lbs, so you get 2 meals for the price of one, like in the motherland. All at the table just couldn't believe what we just got served, like we died and went to pizza heaven. You want a better life? Skip 3 of your frozen supermarket pizzas and get one made to order, by someone who knows what they're doing. Good job mr owner, mrs cook and mrs server. You just saved me a $1500 airline ticket to Italy. Multo bene,...
Read morePizzario was sadly disappointing. I was so excited to see a wood fired pizza place so we popped in for dinner. They had a proper oven right on display as you walked in so I had high hopes, but the pizza was a major miss.
I got the Margherita pizza and it was extremely disappointing. The sauce stood out as particularly bad. Overly sweet and dominating of the entire pizzas flavor. The crust had decent flavor but it was overpowered by the sauce the whole time. The fresh mozzarella on the pie did not really have a chance to melt and meld with the sauce so it really didn’t add a lot to the pizza. My wife got the pepperoni which was better, but only because they pilled on the cupping pepperoni. Once I got to a part of the slice without pep it was clear this was the same mediocre crust with the heinous pizza sauce as my pizza.
All this I could forgive, after all there’s a place in the world for mediocre pizza, especially if the price is right. Sadly the price was not right, and it was extremely expensive, 52 dollars after tip for 2 pizzas and one soda.
We won’t be returning without some serious recipe and quality changes...
