If I could give this Marina a "10" I would! I don't really know where to begin. We originally had reservations in Florida but I ended up calling Shelter Cove and I am so happy I did. I spoke with Jason on the phone and he was so personable, he answered my many questions and took his time explaining everything about the Marina to us. He gave me his number and said text or call anytime. I couldn't believe it. Anytime I text him or called him he was so quick to respond to my many questions. He made us feel so comfortable before we had even gotten here. We arrived last wednesday night. He told me to text him when we were on our way in since it was dark. I text him and he drive one of the work boats from the Marina all the way out to meet us and lead us in and helped us dock the boat. This was amazing customer service. He went above and beyond!!! We we're so greatful for him. He met us with a smile and again ensured us whatever we needed just to let him know. It has been a week today and we couldn't be happier. The customer service continues with a smile from everyone. They have made us feel a part of the family here. The Marina is beautiful and lots of entertainment every night!! This is the best place ever and we feel we are on vacation everyday. Jason, we want to tell you thank you for everything you have done for us, you are amazing!!!!! I hope we can continue to call this...

We arrived in November of '19 and stayed the for winter. The setting is idyllic. There are many shops and restaurants all within close proximity. The grounds, service, and staff are fantastic. The response from the marina staff is prompt, courteous, and professional. If you need service or repair, Jason the dock master effortlessly selects an appropriate and qualified technician from his local knowledge. Additionally the two most important things we seek in a marina are clean bathrooms and decent wifi. Unlike many other marina bathrooms, these are cleaned daily and with a recent winter '19 remodel the ladies facilities look great. The only disadvantage is they are long walk from many of the docks. However the marina remedies this by working with a local bicycle rental company to supply slip holders a rental bike for the duration of their stay. The wifi is strong and fast throughout the marina. Pump-out service is easily scheduled with on an online webform and the capable Clayton shows up on schedule a couple of times each week to eliminate the elimination. Docking and leaving the slip is easy with little or no current and the competent assistance from Cap'n Shawn and helpers. A shout out to Roz and Deb who handily run the ships store and always have a smile to share! All in all, I can heartily recommend spending time at...

We have been coming to Shelter Cove on and off for 2 years and have been there as full time live a boards since November. In that time, Jason and his staff have been wonderful in every way. That's why it pains me so see negative reviews that are just not true. I witness the encounter with the gentlemen that wants to bring lawyers because Jason asked him the leave and stop fishing

1st, I have been in marinias from St Augastine to the Chesapeke and I have never seen a marina that allows fishing from a boat much less a boat that is not there as a guest. 2nd, as a boater, I do not like having people cast up and around boats. That is one step away from shirmping and crabbing that could cause major problems when engines are cranked up. 3rd, I watched most if not all of the encounter and Jason was calm and showed a lot of patients with the situation. I not sure what else he could have done and to top it off, I never saw the upset boater attempt to get fuel.

I understand there is a lot of great fishing around Shelter Cove. I am not sure anyone would need to fish around all of the boats.

If you have question about how great a marina Shelter Cove is, I encourage you to bring your boat and come for a visit. There are great shops and restaurants, plenty of water sports, and even boats you can rent and spend the night on the water for a taste of...

This is a great marina well away from any wake and with full amenities. We pulled up for a short 2 night stay and wished we could have stayed even longer. The floating docks are very nice, especially considering the 6' tidal range. Plenty of power and water hookups for every boat. The ships store is well stocked and right on sight. There are also numerous restaurants, a bakery, and ice cream place all within sight of your slip. You can stop by the fuel station for gasoline or diesel on your way out or in. We had a great time at Shelter Cove Marina and would recommend it to anyone.

Just "the brick Walk" along all the Marina docks will give your eyes s picnic of what is not in your hometown! The Boutique shops are perfect for a sea Captain's wallet. Buy her something daring in a "dress" that flirts. A delicate pastry with low calories - if that exists! Stand next to Neptune's statue. And, the awful thought of going down with your ship into the vast darkness, forever gone. But, even there, our God can save your soul! Enjoy the photos and outtakes! - Keith Carey Psalm 23
