I like the products, but the service is horrible at this store. I have been going here since this used to be a State Line Tack. Since it became a Dover saddlery it has slowly become worse and worse. I will no longer shop here (thank you internet). The store is always full of boxes and impossible to get through to the merchandise. Prices are high and be cautious of "sale" items there are normally the same price as they normally sell them for. Customer service is very hit or miss. I have had okay service, but normally have none at all. They didn't have something in stock the lady just scuffed at me and walked away. She didn't even try to order it for me or look. I went with a size larger than I originally ordered, then after wearing it for an hour at home I realized that one was also a little small. I called them up and asked if they had the next size up which they did, I swung by and exchanged the helmet. Very seamless, great prices, very knowledgeable staff. Read moreI have never had the pleasure of going to Dover Saddlery up until now! The staff are friendly, ALL of the clothes, tack, grooming items, etc. are excellent quality!!!! It is a bit pricey, which is why i only gave it four stars, but I guess everything in the horse world is that way. If you want clothes that are a little less expensive, though not as high quality because everything is used, go to Maryland Saddlery, which is literally less than 5 minutes away from Dover. Overall Dover is my favorite place to go to shop for anything...
