D&W Fresh Market — Attraction in Holland Charter Township

Awful app interface. Cashiers there are often inexperienced and bad at dealing with it. Most grocery stores do not force you to physically scan the digital coupon to apply it to an order. Two of thee times I have come here I have had this problem; one of the three times i had no coupon problem, but the merchandise was labelled incorrectly (an item was unlabelled completely, with no price, but with other items half the price listed after scanning the item); so problems every time i come here. Anyway, back to the coupon problem. This wouldn't even be an issue, if the app interface weren't such a pain. I cannot find an option to scan a QR code (to find a coupon) nor does the login functionality work properly after changing my passcode. I would normally post this as a review of the app, but the store workers themselves have no idea how to handle this situation with any decorum, leading to long periods of waiting for assistance everytime I try to use a coupon at the store. I said I needed help finding it in the app, and was directed to the front desk without any help from the cashier. Supposedly cashiers should have experience finding coupons on the app? At normal grocery stores I go to, as long as you have an account with the store (on the app) if you put in your phone number or email, they can apply the coupon, and scan it themselves (most stores have a coupon book, even of digital coupons). Overall, a nice store. They have a great selection of seafood, wine, and upscale deli options, such as an olive bar and sushi made fresh in house. The cheese case near the deli offers cheeses and meats that I have not found elsewhere in Holland. There’s even a small cafe area where shoppers can enjoy something from the salad bar (which offers a nice variety of items) or a beverage from the in-store Starbucks. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star rating is that there seems to be a problem with restocking lately. I have found wilting produce on several occasions. I almost always leave without one or more items on my grocery list lately, because they have not restocked those items. Sometimes, similar items are slid over to make the shelves look full, but they’re not the items I’m looking for. This is really the only weakness I’ve seen...
