We went there twice. The first time we tried the food even though the bathroom was dirty. The food was not too bad, so we went back again. Bad decision 😪 Our second visit was way worst. The bathroom was even more disgusting then it was on our first visit. Looks like mold is everywhere around the base boards. And the toilets were horrible too. Plugged up and no one seemed to care. They were not that busy!! Not sure how this place still stays open today?? Their water is horrible and it makes it where you have to buy one of their can drinks or Bobo's just so you don't have to drink their water. I bought other Bobo's (next door/same owners) drinks for my girls. We ended up deciding to eat there because my daughter loves" Pho". She said her meal tasted fine. But my meal had old crunchy rice throughout the whole thing. This food should of never been allowed to be fed to "ANY" people!! I am part Chinese and I know old rice from new rice. And the rice was several days old. I am surprised we did not get sick. I should of refused the plate but I didn't want to cause a scene. We just ate the meat out of it. (Which was much less meat then our first visit) But never, ever again will we set foot in this place again! The old lady was very rude to us and I even left her a tip. A tip she did not earn or deserve. Good thing you can't taste the stagnant water taste because they disguise it in their Pho's really good. Must be lots of fish juice. And "Remember" they are using the same water too to make their Bobo's next door too...Pink House. So...

3-Star Review: Decent Food, But Poor Service and Cleanliness

We stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating for both small and large groups, though the tables are a bit small.

As vegetarians, we appreciated that they made substitutions for us, but the server lacked menu knowledge. Every question we asked had to be relayed to the chef.

Here’s what we ordered:

• Tom Yum Soup: Very tasty. • Dang Penang Curry with Tofu: Decent but on the sweeter side. • Thai Mango Tofu: Way too sweet for our liking. • Basil Fried Rice: Just okay. There was hardly any basil, mostly large stems.

We asked for plates to share, and were given tiny saucers. When we asked for larger plates, the server said they don’t have big dinner plates, and only had a few quarter plates left, which they had to save for other reasons.

The service was disappointing. The staff were stingy with napkins, and when we asked for more, they said four napkins were enough for four people. We had a few leftovers and asked for three boxes, but the server seemed annoyed and made us feel uncomfortable.

Cleanliness was a major issue. The restroom was dirty, had no hand soap, and the toilet paper holder was broken, causing the rolls to fall on the floor. I’d give cleanliness 2 stars, and only 1 star for the restroom.

Overall, the food was decent but nothing special, and the service and cleanliness need significant...

This negative review is for the horrible service and first time experience, and not the quality of the food because we left the restaurant without ordering any food to be fair.

My friend, his wife, and myself came in Sunday late afternoon on 5/12 with 3 kids as we were craving pho and we have never been to this restaurant before in Holland, MI so we figured it was worth a try. We are an Asian family and once all 3 kids sat down on one of the round tables, they were trying to learn and play with the chopsticks while we waited.

One of the staff came over and very rudely told us to have the kids stop clapping their chopsticks together because it was making too loud of a ā€œnoiseā€and that ā€œwe were disturbing the other customersā€. The staff member said this to us in front of everyone in his restaurant and said it loudly in a condescending manner in front of us and the kids.

As soon as he said that to us, we did not feel comfortable giving this restaurant any of our business anymore because we feel like they don’t respect their customers. We immediately left without ordering any food. If you’re looking for Pho in the Holland, MI area…stay away from this place if you value being treated with respect...

Had a bad experience when they first opened a few years ago so I decided to give them another try. Ordered xlarge beef pho, large beef pho, fried rice, one order sticky rice and egg rolls. First of all, we never got the sticky rice my daughter wanted. The egg rolls were the best part of our order. For $50 this was a major let down! Fried rice was loaded with fish sauce, to the point it was a creamy color. My 4 yr old asked if the chicken in it was fish! Pho was the worst I have ever had and the meatballs were white. You could just tell the flavor wasn't there. Like they threw water into the bowl and served it. No ginger or star anise flavor at all. For a place with Pho in the name, one would expect more of an authentic taste. Very disappointed... won't ever go back!

Hands down some of the best Pho I've ever had. I ordered the beef and brisket pho and it was great. The broth was so flavorful I could have just sipped the broth by itself and enjoyed it . Fresh basil, jalapeno and bean sprouts on the side to add. Rice rolls were freshly made and a refreshing appetizer. The Thai tea came in a large glass and was cold , sweet and delicious. You have to try the coconut mango sticky rice. Service was great, our waiter was friendly and prompt with taking our order and getting our food out to us. We received our food within less than 10 minutes of sitting down. My friend ordered the pad see ew and that was great as well. The bathroom needed a little love but this is a mom and pop shop.
