Parrish Womble Park — Attraction in Holly Springs

The community here is amazing, its the usual kick the ball over the fence and someone runs and throws it back over. its nice how they have 2 tennis courts, one really big one on the left and 2 medium sized one on the right, bathroom good, garbage cans are reachable everywhere. playground is safe and has a nice platform too it, to me its a nice chill place with friends. nice jog around track that goes around the soccer field that is about 2/5 of a mile long. the soccer field is a wopping 13 ACRES!! amazing... For Fishermen; I have caught several 13 inch bass in that pond they have... on that pond i only do catch and release but yea, they should be some big ones in there... some parts of the park have online accessible live cameras too. the rangers and staff here are nice and helpful as well... i have had a few encounters with the sheriff there for riding motorized vehicles there, but i have had my fun and i respect that. i love the police in holly springs they are really laid back most of the time and are also helpful no matter what the deal is, have a good attitude and comply with reasonable orders and doing so will minimize the punishment by A LOT... they usually have a few police officers there by the soccer field when big activities are going on. the only thing i do not like about womble park is, the water fountains, they have 2 next to the tennis courts and they are freeze proof but they don't really shoot out water making it hard to drink. overall, Cool place to hangout and have family time or time with friends. Bring water bottles...

Nice park overall. Has walking trails, court sports, and more. We went there for a Top Gun Baseball Tournament ⚾️. *Why no concessions?! *Why $10 per person for no toilet paper and no drinking fountain and no concessions. Weird. That was super disappointing and not sure if those issues were/are a Top Gun or Town of Holly Springs deal. Well, NO WATER FOUNTAIN is a Town of thing. That must needs be fixed. Access to water is super important. And if no concessions, someone has to have ice if a breakable ice pack is not found. Blues did a decent job. Glad we didn't waste time raking the fields every time because the Tournament was long and not as efficient as some. But the four ☆☆☆☆ is for...

Very large park with an all ages playground, tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball fields, kickball field, batting cages, and walking/running paths. Tons of green space for lounging, walking the pets/kids, and just enjoying nature. The soccer fields are huge and obviously well cared for. Likewise the baseball fields and tennis courts. The walking paths are asphalt and perfect for learning how to ride a bike. The playground is pretty good, but nothing fancy. Kids will love it, of course. The only downside is that parking can get crazy when there are soccer and baseball...
