Had to give this a shot at least once, right? I havenโt been back home to catch a game in a while, and watching the season opener UH vs Delaware game, all I could think was how much I miss Aloha Stadium. Itโs just not the same without the parking lot tailgating vibe! But hey, this is what weโve got for now.
Pro tip: snag seats on the home sideโtheyโve got built-in seat backs, so your back wonโt hate you by halftime. Plus, theyโve got actual restrooms on that side. The variety of food vendors was a nice surprise, and you do feel closer to the action, but trust me, go for seats a bit higher up so you can see the whole field. Parking wasnโt the nightmare I imagined, but we played it safe and went for fast-break parking on the 5th floor. Fingers crossed they fix Aloha Stadium sooner...
ย ย ย Read moreThe speaker system is so loud and very irritating. I mean I am seated in the Maura side in the last section, the fartherest section away from the speaker above the television screen. I mean I wear hearing aids and have to turn them to the loud noise setting to make it comfortable sound level. Why does it have to be so loud? Otherwise everything else is okay, seats are hard to sit on for 3.5 hours. The rental seats for 25.00, are rather small in the butt area. The atmosphere is 100% different. Every seat is close to the field. So much more vendors selling some ono grinds ! ๐๐ฆ๐บ๐จ๐ข๐ญ๐It seems like a much larger student body turnout. Being located in Manoa we did get some rain๐ฆ but it quickly passes . Parking is close by .. were so looking forward to our next...
