RB Sports Bar & Grill (Rock Bottom) — Restaurant in Honolulu

Shockingly rude and disrespectful bartender/manager. She left the bar while we were waiting for service to chat with friends near the bar. Gave poor service and explained that we should have moved to the other end of the bar where there was a server. We ordered drinks and later went to the other end of the bar for service. The original bartender/manager approached us and the other bartender saying how disrespectful we were to order from the other server. She told other patrons that she would get us kicked out, and then asked the doorman to physically remove us without allowing us to finish our drinks. We were charged full price for the drinks and the manager refused to return our bank cards until the drinks were paid...

The outside is sketchy but so is the inside. Tables had beat up chairs or some were missing and the environment was unwelcoming. I went to order and quite literally stood in front of one of the workers for at least 10 minutes while he was flirting with the other women at the bar. I wasn’t off to the side or anything. Directly in front of his face. He looked at me a few times and didn’t say anything. No “Hi, bye, sorry can’t help you” nothing. He wore all black with his hat backwards but honestly? He seemed a little strange too. I don’t know, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. There’s plenty of other good bars around the island. You’re better off leaving...

I went to this bar on Friday with a few friends had 2 domestic beers and bought 1 import for a friend! My tab came to $14.66 I tipped $5.00 = $19.66 yet was charged $30.00! Its not the amount that bothers me it’s just the dishonesty!!! I always keep my Receipts for this reason! Sorry that the over 20% tip wasn’t enough for you to where you felt you needed to tip yourself over the price of the tab! I was a bartender and the worst thing you can do is change people’s tips, that’s stealing!! I had a good time up until this happened! So I would not suggest starting a tab...
