I would put 3.5 but I will just put it 4 stars. You might think why I put 3.5 as my review. Mr. Paku was the person who cut my hair today and lot went really well. I needed advice so I asked him what kind of haircut would be best for the event that I have tomorrow. Since my hair is really thick and get hurt easily, I wanted to make it thin and light hair. But for the answer I got back was, really dry response and didn’t really helped me. It looked like he was rushing and wanted to get this fast. He was also talking very fast that there were some words that I didn’t understand. Anyways his technique is amazing but he was kinda impolite and didn’t talked all the way through the process. If he didn’t had to rush and give me a dry response towards the questions, I would give 5 stars. But the other staff was really friendly and gave me a nice warm welcome. On the other hand, Mr. Paku was just saying to follow and leading me without saying hello. Lastly, when he finished my hair and after I said thank you, he was giving me a “oh I’m finally done with this’ vibe and he just walked downstairs leaving me behind. and even I asked him how to straighten my hair, he just kept telling me to do the payment so I just gave up.

Like I said the technique is good but if you go to that salon, you should choose a woman stylist. Not Mr. Paku. But I’m never going to that salon again. If you understand what I meant , please give a like. So I know it’s not only me who is feeling horrible...

I never left a bad review in my life because I love supporting local businesses/artists. However, I thought this was necessary to inform those who may encounter the same experience as me.

I came here to do Japanese Straightening. I was very excited off of what I've seen on Instagram by Paku. However, when I arrived, he looked very unmotivated and rude while I was talking to him. He was totally the opposite from what I have seen on Instagram which is disappointing :(

I wanted to get his suggestion on my haircut, but when he answered it was very dry and not very helpful (not like what you see on his Instagram reels). At one point, he accidentally bumped the iron on my shoulder but no apology, which is not a big deal but I just thought it was impolite. I felt the service was rushed, and there was very little communication through out the whole process.

Very unpleasant experience and unfair treatment compared to what he portrayed on his social media.

I am finger crossing that that the Japanese Straitening Perm won't wear...

I’d been going to this salon for years and getting my hair cut by Yumiko, who is so pleasant and patient. I would not think to schedule with anyone else, despite how difficult securing an appointment may be. I’d always been happy with how my hair turns out, being one who used to be apprehensive about getting my haircut because of poor experiences at other salons. My daughter also had her haircut by Risa, who was so sweet. Now my daughter wants to come often to get her hair styled. I’d recommended this salon to my sister and mom as well, who’d also just been as pleased with the haircut/styling.

I tried the headspa service, with another stylist, and was very disappointed. For the price, and considering it was booked for an hour, I was very surprised that only about 15 minutes was spent washing my hair/massaging my scalp — which felt just like the usual service I get when I come in for a haircut. Then another 16 minutes just drying and styling my hair. I felt almost like the stylist was not familiar...
