The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful. I would give them 5 stars. ONLY RENT THE SCOOT COUPE IF YOU ARE STAYING IN THE TOURIST SPOT OF WAIKIKI We rented the Scoot coupe planning to check out the west side of waikiki where the murals are and wanted to check out China town. We also wanted to check out a couple of spots that the staff recommended. Unfortunately we were unable to go to any of the spots we were planning because the parking brakes do not work on even a 2% slope. The side mirrors were also not adjusting properly. The coupe was difficult to keep it driving straight, it was a bit challenging to handle on the roads which made us quite paranoid on top of the broken parking brake. The trunk space was also really small, so we couldn't even put the helmets in there which made the leg space so tight. If you are a regular sized person driving with another regular sized person, this vehicle is going to be really small for you. I am a petite 4'10" woman, and my bf is 6' tall and we were not too comfortable in the vehicle. It is only good to use if you are planning to stay within the busy waikiki tourist streets where the roads are flat. If you're planning on checking out places that are outside of waikiki, rent a moped, a car or a slinger. It was not good on busier roads where the cars are driving pretty fast. Would not rent the Scoot coupe again, but would definitely go back to possibly rent a moped because the staff were so friendly. We told them the problems, and they were very apologetic.
Update: Unexpectedly got an Email from Jesse, their manager and gave me a full refund. Which I was not expecting at all. That's phenomenal...

DJ was the best! Hella helpful, really knowledgeable and patient.
I've rented from this company in the past and always had a great experience. My recent trip to Oahu, I kept telling my partner how fun it is to explore the Island on the mopeds but she has never ridden one before so was a little hesitant on trying them out.
Finally convinced her to give it a try and went on over to the Uluniu location. We made reservations online and the check-in process was quick.
Next was a helmet fitting while watching a little intro video on the "do's and don'ts" while on the mopeds. After the paperwork we're presented with our rides and given a little tutorial. I have a motorcycle license and have had experience riding mopeds around Oahu before so I was ready to get on the road.
DJ was very good at explaining the basics on getting started and riding the moped to my partner and even had her do a couple of start/stop exercises before doing a couple of test laps around Uluniu, Koa, Prince Edwards.
Once that was all done and we were feeling confident, we were off!
Always the best experience and a great way to show the "Aloha Spirit"....

Really appreciated my experience renting the 50cc sport moped! Used it to head to Pearl harbor from Waikiki, it was such a fun experience! Truthfully, the moped ride was more fun than Pearl Harbor! Was initially surprised by the mandatory $6 fuel fee, you're supposed to return it to them empty and they will refill it. But that's the price of a full tank of gas, so it was convenient in the end. You'll get 60 miles roughly to a tank. Insurance for the moped was an additional $25/day. Rental prices are on par with other companies, plus you get a free helmet with your rental. You can park the moped overnight on their lot if you need or you CAN park the moped on sidewalks, so you won't have to pay for parking ever! Most importantly, you can return the rental anytime after they close (new policy they just started). That really took the stress of having to return it by 5:00 p.m. Consider getting the phone holder add on, otherwise navigating can be hard - you could always go the wireless headset to your phone route so you can...
