🌟 Best Street Food Experience in Honolulu! 🌟
I recently had the absolute pleasure of visiting KFoodHawaii, and let me tell you—this food truck is a true gem! The moment you walk up, you're greeted with warm smiles and the incredible smell of authentic Korean flavors sizzling on the grill.
The Korean BBQ Chicken and the squid is hands-down one of the best meals I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked to perfection. Their kimchi is tangy and fresh, providing the perfect balance to the savory dishes. The portions are generous, and the food is full of flavor—definitely worth every penny!
But what truly makes this place stand out is their incredible hospitality. I accidentally left my bag there, which had my passports and some important belongings in it. Needless to say, I was panicking when I realized hours later. When I returned the next day, I was beyond relieved to find that they had kept it safe for me! This level of kindness and honesty speaks volumes about the people behind KFoodHawaii.
If you're in Honolulu, you must stop by this food truck. Amazing food, fantastic service, and above all, they treat you like family. Can't wait to come back!

Read moreThis place is a scam and makes us Koreans look bad, and I instinctively knew this given the flashy exterior and insanely exorbitant prices for grocery store ramen that costs cents to make at home. There is also NO free complimentary water. They literally force you to buy a beverage if you’re dining in. To make matters worse, they ask for at least 18% tip at check out yet do absolutely nothing to serve the food or to clean up the tables. The food tastes like my elementary school cafeteria in Korea where I can buy everything for 15$ but was instead charged over $50 for the same basic food here. Even factoring in inflation and different living costs can’t even account for this difference. The musubi place next door was far cheaper and better tasting than this place. What a joke. Like what the hell! This place brings shame to the Korean name. Definitely avoid at all costs. Shame on them for being greedy business people but shame on me for even bothering to fall into their trap. The only reason I went is because my Korean wife craved Korean food and the atmosphere tricked her. I would give less than 1 star if I could, especially for bringing shame to the...
Read moreWe were very excited to find this food truck in Waikiki since we love Korean food. But firstly I was shocked by how expensive the food was and then even more disappointed by the taste and quality.
I really tried to enjoy the food, but I just couldn’t finish it and ended up throwing them away. I ordered LA Galbi (short ribs) , spicy pork and tteokbokki. The LA Galbi was burnt to the point of being almost inedible. The spicy pork was overwhelmingly salty, like someone accidentally poured an entire bag of salt into it. Tteokbokki was nothing special, just expensive.
On top of that, the staff were incredibly unfriendly. I don’t understand why they felt it was okay to treat customers that way. Maybe because most customers are tourists, they assume they’ll never see them again? Either way, it’s unprofessional and immature.
Even if the staff were rude, I might have understood if the food was at least good but it wasn’t. Maybe they’re just overly proud of themselves for no reason?
Food taste, quality, and customer service all deserve below one star. I will never visit again and honestly wish they would stop selling food if they can’t do...
