Hau Tree Lanai in the New Ohtani Hotel is one of my favorite restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Great for small, casual celebrations, the light, open air setting is shaded (mostly) by the beautiful hau tree. The only thing that separates it from Waikiki Beach is a low wall and fence, so you'll have great views at any time of day! The food is always fresh and very tasty. Everything on the breakfast menu is served beautifully, which then spills over into lunch service. Fresh fish is always a good choice for dinner, with excellent preparation! Service is friendly, pleasant and attentive. It feels like I'm on vacation whenever I eat here. These views might be biased, but can you tell...

So what does this beach offer over the other Waikiki beaches? First, Kaimana usually isnât as crowded as the other Waikiki beaches. Itâs where most locals go when going to a Waikiki beach. It has ample parking and the adjacent park allows for outdoor grilling. Second, youâll probably see green sea turtles if you swim out to the wind sock just off shore. There is a moderate current, so attempt it only if youâre a moderate badass. Donât make the lifeguards work too hard...
