Lynn's Saimin & Cookie Shop — Attraction in Honolulu

Stopped by to try out their Tripe Stew plate. Saw some negative reviews about customer service which was totally opposite of my experience. Was greeted when we came in to the small shop. Was hoping for cookies...but found out that they're only baked on Saturdays and normally runs out by mid-week so we put in an order for pick up. Ordered a Tripe Stew plate and headed home. This place is awesome. I got the fried rice, egg and a hamburger patty. The fried rice was really flavorful and had bacon or spam in it. The hamburger patty was a lot like a Japanese kind and was soft and well seasoned. The scrambled egg was perfect.

The seating inside is small but it's a classic diner setting. It's exactly the kind of place you want to go to get a ton of food for cheap that has way more flavor than...

Went to Lynn's on my first trip to visit the family back in Pauoa in 2000 when I was 6 years old. Been going here ever since. Even my mom and family been going here since back in the day.
