This was a long while back and only now, I'm doing this review. When ever I need a time out, I walk down to the neighborhood Starbucks around 5:30pm " less people ". On this day sitting where I like to sit looking out the window watching the traffic go by. The window cracked the shade over this window helps with the sunlight. So I do what I always do writing out my thoughts, the sun on this day was magnificent. Putting on my Bonnie Raitt album which is about 48 minutes? I wear glasses and my eyes are going but this day I watch the sun slowly going down behind the tree and I got to see many colors normally I Can't see. The feeling within me kept a look on my face I even said out loud " how am I able to stare at this, amazement!? " only at Starbucks " I said. Then the next thing I knew Journey was playing in my headphones 🤷, I've been watching the sun for about 48 or so 🙆? Then the Greatest thing happened, a nice young lady asked for my chair to add to hers. So polite she was, oh boy was I excited to have felt that. The funny thing about this is she could have chosen any chair in the place for there was only 3 people in the place 🤔? That's what they call " you Charlette had an opportunity ". An old Baptist saying. Now that I think about it, I was really having a bad day before I got to Starbucks 😔. While gathering up my thighs I noticed that she had just brought a large cup of coffee Assss she uses the WiFi and I like that. Just now I was told about the points for goodies here Plus they are open till 7: 30pm 🥳 and I will be able to finish this review. Google maps has been bugging me about it. Oh, just to let you know. The sun IS... yellow 🌅. June 20 Micah had a drink for me to balance me it's Gr Strawberry Acai Lemonade. Where were You when I was menopausal 🤷!...
Read moreHorrible. Went in for two simple cups of coffee. Several people behind me has multiple drinks in their orders, people in front of me got served their drinks. I'm in their standing alone in the store still empty handed. There was about 4-5 employees. Non attentive. Finally I had to go and ask why was two simple cups of coffee taking long, are they brewing a barrell or something? Finally they all jump. I just wanted my money back and preferred to go across the street to 7-11 at that point. Didnt want to give me my refund. Gave me my two cups of coffee which I didn't even want anymore at that point, and gave me a gift card that I couldn't even use on my app or in another store that I went to. So all the way around, this location is a bust. So disappointed. Wasn't a drink they had to mix and steam or whatever. It was simple coffee. Come on, Starbucks, everywhere else is always on point, what's up with this location? I've been to other locations where the employees notice if a customer is waiting for a little bit than probably should and those stores are busy! But the employees are attentive, the Alakea St. location! Maybe this one should take notes from the Alakea...
Read moreThis Starbucks is attracting a particular group of rude, crude, & uncaring patrons (besides homeless). Asst Mgr who knows us well (go there daily for years) was yelling at us, instead of instigators(who each had their iPhones so loud, we couldn’t hear each other or the background music & yet they started going after us with flippant remarks). They laughed, told us to leave and all flipped us off. I asked to speak to Asst Mgr afterwards and he did not even apologize. Never going back there. Ever. Also, they have removed 2/3 of their tables & chairs, as Mgr said they don’t want people to linger. Also said all tables were removed near 1 table along wall for handicapped. That does not explain all the high tables & chairs removed from front of shop. Lately, have seen customers sitting on floor. This Starbucks closed access to their restrooms as had been trashed by homeless. I suggested showing one’s receipt for access. No one listened. Everyone is having to use filthy restroom at end of shopping center. Find another Starbucks or another coffee company. I used to work in corporate office. Starbucks was to be “your home away from home”....
