Hawaiian Paradise Candies — Restaurant in Honolulu

One of the goodies in my gift basket (received as a prize from an OYE) was from this biz located on Oahu, specifically their Furikake Party Mix.

The hearty pouch is 18 ounces and comes with an easy-to-open pull-away tab, revealing a heavy duty re-sealer. For you malihini who have no idea what furikake is, it's finely grated nori (seaweed) mixed with salt, sesame seeds, MSG, and a bit of sugar. Combining that with the traditional buttery-sweet party mix flavor makes for a blend of sweet and ocean-y, probably a turn-off to most but not if you're a local! The usual suspects can be found in the bag, including rice & corn Chex, Honey Comb, Bugles, an over-abundance of pretzels and thankfully no wheat Chex. Every piece was flavorful and coated well.

TIP: I have a feeling that this is for sale at Costco as there was an "item number" listed on the bag.
