MWR ITT — Attraction in Honolulu

Disclaimer: ITT in general is great (5 stars) and the staff here are nice enough, but coming to this ITT is generally frustrating because of the wait experience. At best, block out 45 minutes of time for waiting, and sometimes upwards of 2 hours. It's an old-fashioned pull number system, so if you're not there when your number is called, you're out of luck. There's a tent outside for shade, but they don't show the current number outside, so the only way to get an idea of the wait is to ask someone who's already there or wait until a number is called. Additionally, there are no head-of-the-line privileges for active duty in uniform, so you better take the afternoon off if you want to come here.

Overall, is this worth the trip to buy family tickets that will save hundreds of dollars? Probably. But to save sixty bucks on a couple people? It depends on how much you...

I’ve had great prior experiences here, but this last one was so souring. I came in with specific questions on a particular location and the staff member was very dismissive. She spoke to me in such a way that made me feel like I was an inconvenience for needing some help. I ended up walking out with the brochure that she pushed on me as she insisted on not engaging my questions. I can’t express how unhelpful she was. I wish I had gotten a name.
